Unit Looked Great, but Not Renter Ready

"At least 8 or 9 calls were necessary to make the unit habitable. 1. TV didn't work. 2 Land line didn't work and this home-owner refused to activate it even after many requests. 3 a pane of glass was missing in the jalousie by front door. It was cold as a result Eventually replaced. 4 bathtub was plugged and had to be cleared. 5. Jalousie in kitchen had nothing covering and kitchen was always cold.6. keys not labeled. 7. key to garbage didn't work at first and Mark actually took away my garbage a couple of times till we had it figured out.8.computer didn't work till modem was found in corner of a closet and then connected 9. No instructions as to where to find the laundry or garbage area. ( neighbours told me)10. bedrooms were cold. 11.KITCHEN - broiler pan was filthy - broiler area not cleaned. Many of the cupboards were dirty. plastic garbage pails - dirty. 12. windows inside and out were not cleaned No dusters, or swiffers or something to keep the unit clean. I found a broom that was all. Whole kitchen needed a thorough cleaning. Good fridge - new. top oven of stove didn't work at all. (again no instructions). Needed more than 4 washcloths and dishtowels.No sun on patio . Mark worked very hard to make the unit livable and after about 5 or 6 days!!! everything was fine. Recently decorated the bungalow looked great. I feel that considering the problems that I had to live with the unit was grossly overpriced. My neighbours were very pleasant and helpful " - Home: Las Palmas Palm Springs Bungalow

Great Weekend

"It's a great house. Very comfortable, modern and well-equipped. It's very hard to think of anything to improve -- we had such a lovely time. Maybe a larger frypan?? Excellent service! A Cozy Home Away from Home

"We liked the fact that it was well equipped with china, glasses and cutlery. This enabled us to entertain some friends on three separate occasions. We liked the bed. Beautiful Home with Minuscule Maid'srm

"Staff was very pleasant & helpful, all of them. In the future, would suggest providing some orientation for the vent controls. We tried to keep both a/c & heating off, but somehow the heating did come on during the nite due to our incompetence. Was the pool light left on purposely 24/7? The recycling container was missing. Someone wondered if the house is for sale? The kitchen plates, etc were all convenient, easy to wash in the dishwasher. " - Home: Rancho Mirage Elegance

Incredible Yard. Worn-out Home.

"3 This was our third time. We do it for the yard, the yeard, the yard, the neighborhood, and the ability to walk downtown. And did I mention the yard? I've recently looked online for other homes in the area, and I know that there are at least 5 homes exactly like this one that are available for rent. And every time I would look at the pictures of the houses that had had the interior redone, I wanted to stay in those places instead. I appreciate attempting to remain true to the original mid-century design vision, but the showers take forever to warm up, and then are very touchy, the kitchen is *extremely* tired, and there's really no comfortable places to sit or to read. Great Location!

"This home is close to downtown, shopping, etc. Very spacious living area, however the bathrooms were small. The bed in the master bedroom was too small. The outside area was spacious and great for entertaining and relaxing around the pool. The reservation team was very helpful. Since we did not know the area, they helped us work through finding the right location based on our requirements. The property manager was responsive when we had requests during our stay. Peaceful Easy Feeling

"We loved the home's open great room that opened onto the pool. The heated pool was a godsend in dicey February weather - made all the difference. The vintage lamps were a nice touch. We would suggest a "freshening" of the kitchen cabinets and linen closets. We couldn't find four plates to match for dinner. And it felt a little tacky to be drinking from logo-emblazoned coffee cups. Investing a few hundred dollars at the Crate & Barrel outlet and Target's linen department for a more uniform "hotel-like" experience would better reflect the stature of the home. Outstanding

"The home was even better than we could have hoped. Everything from the accommodations to the furnishings to the kitchen and bath facilities was outstanding. I can't think of anything that could be improved. We received excellent service from both Justin and Mark - our only two contacts with your team. We had some trouble with our initial entry to the property probably because I did not check the last message you sent on driving directions. A Place in Time

"We had a great time, it's a beautiful house. We were nervous about getting a full size bed but that room ended up being the one everyone wanted. I loved the natural floors, we didn't have to be paronid about spilling or being a little wet from the pool. Very Nice Accomodations

"The home was very nice in a nice quiet area. We were there for a golf holiday and found that we were only 5-10 minutes away from everything we needed. The hot tub and pool worked well and were a treat after two rounds of golf during the day. The pool was very warm and the Hot Tub had two heat settings if you did not like it really hot. The ice maker in the fridge worked well and the kitchen had all the amenities to prepare meals. The outside BBQ cooked evenly without flare-ups and made cooking steaks easy. The 4th bedroom in the front area of the house is like a guest suite with a private entrance and is fully self contained. We enjoyed the open spacious feeling in the living area and thoroughly enjoyed the morning sun on the patio. Women's Week 2010

"Everyone loved the seclusion of the homes location, and the convenient location to Palm Springs and Rancho Mirage. Enjoyed the layout of the house and the views into the valley. Kitchen was stocked with the necessary equipment for meal prep. Overall this was a great property! Quick and convient online reservations. Had an issue with the master bedroom shower not having enough pressure. I made the call late on the first night and was able to get a hold of a property manager and the issue was fixed by Noon the next day. Very good response! I would recommend Vacation Palm Springs. In fact, a few of my friends that joined for the weekend took information on Vacation Palm Springs for their future visits. " - Home: Hillside Heights

Bright and Spacious

"The condo was just as the pictures portrayed. I liked the skylights and glass doors to the patio. The beds were comfortable. The large, flat screen TV worked well as did the DVD player. The High dining table and high bar stools were comfortable. Lots of mirrors made it seem larger. The location was near supermarkets, a gym movies. Yes, we loved it. It was our 6th year coming to Palm Springs. The information in the welcome book and the brochures in the drawers give good suggestions. The library is close by and for a nominal fee you can join and take out DVDs and CD,s as well as books. The reservation team was cooperative and answered our questions patiently. Fantastic Yard and No Room for the Car

"Lovely pool, beautiful landscaping, large lemon tree with delicious fruit. Nice house with fun decor, comfortable beds and well-equipped kitchen, but hard to keep warm, you can see light around the doors and Palms Springs got its annual rainfall during our stay. The ad offered a two-car carport but a car was parked in the middle of it so that our car had to be left in the driveway during the full month of our stay in spite of several requests to have the car moved. Saturday Farmers market was great for flowers and fresh produce. We bought a spray of orchids and delicious tomatoes for reasonable prices from the producers. Great response to our problems with the "water feature" in the toilet, missing batteries and a vaccuum cleaner! Also an error on our part in the online reservation was promply and accurately corrected. There is too much stuff in the house. There are at least 6 sets of plates, not including matching salad plates. There are lots of towels, unmatched or stained. There were as many vases in the house as I have at home. (And then there is that car.) There was not much cupboard space for renters food. " - Home: Tres Palmas

My Son Says: "it Was a Great Place to Chillax! "

"We really enjoyed The Lounge and would go back again. We absolutely loved the area of town it was in. The house was set up really well, the area with the comfy chairs around the round table was great for playing games and visiting, the kitchen was well equipped, the back yard and pool area was a great place to relax, the simple decor was very appealing and calming. We really enjoyed going to Joshua Tree, hiking up the mountain that looked down into town and the yards, the Blue Coyote restaurant, the Italian restaurant by the Follies theatre, checking out the vintage shops on Palm Canyon Drive. I did most of my communication through email which went really smoothly. Your website and all of the links of things to do in Palm Springs was one of the greatest websites I have ever come across. Phone calls to your team were met with a very pleasant person on the other end who was willing to help or answer my questions. We'll recommend Vacation Palm Springs to fiends for sure!!!!!!!!! Great Modern House in Quiet Area.

Ideal Location for Small Business Retreat

"Fantastic. The home was amazing and accommodated our team very comfortably. It was great to have ample space to meet inside and outside. We also did a lot of cooking and the kitchen worked out perfect. I highly recommend the property we stayed at and recommend that the guests go hiking at the Indian Canyons.
