Before going out to play a round of golf in Palm Springs, golfers will want to check the calendar first. In the winter months from December through February, the temperatures are cool with the highs rarely getting out of the seventies. Players can don a light jacket or sweater, especially if playing in the morning.
Play in the summer is a different story. During June through September in the Palm Springs area, high temperatures average between 102 and 106 degrees F. Players should avoid the mid-day sun, if possible, apply sun-screen, wear a hat with a broad rim and put on loose fitting clothing, and drink lots of water!
Also, it is important to note that from mid-September through mid-November the golf courses in the area will close for approximately 4 weeks for overseeding. Not all of the 130 courses in the Desert close at exactly the same time, so there is always plenty of world-class golf to be played!
In the City of Palm Springs, many great golf courses are open to the public at reasonable rates Use our Palm Springs golf guide to find the best course for you!

The Desert's Best Golf
If you want to experience top-level golf courses, then a visit to Palm Springs must be part of your itinerary. The greater Palm Springs area is home to five of the top 30 courses in California as rated by Golf.com. Accordingly, the competition between these courses provides a benefit to the golfer in lower play fees with more amenities. In addition, Palm Springs is one of the top vacation destinations in Southern California.
The PGA West houses six top-rated golfing venues, including three that are consistently rated by Golf magazine as among the best courses to play in the nation. PGA West's most famous course, the Stadium, is an 18-hole, par-72 field designed by world-renowned golf designer Peter Dye. Golf Digest magazine rated it in 2007 as the fourth toughest course in the United States. The Stadium's signature hole is the 16th, which includes a 19-foot deep bunker that runs almost the full length of the hole.
La Quinta Resort
La Quinta's venues are independent and stand on their own as top-rated courses for the area. In 2010, Golf.com ranked La Quinta's Mountain course at the 70th course to play out of the top 100 courses in the nation. The Mountain course is a 6,700 yard, par-72 field that boasts some of the trickiest holes in the game, such as the par-5, fourth hole where at the tee, the green is hidden from view by a mountain that you have to play around to get to the hole.
Indian Wells Golf Resort
In 2010, both courses at Indian Wells Golf Resort were not only ranked among the top 20 courses to play in California by Golf Magazine, but they also ranked among the top municipal courses in the country by Golfweek, making Indian Wells the only Palm Springs golf course to have both its courses so highly rated. The higher rated of the two courses is the Players Course, which is an 18-hole, 7,300 yard, par-72 venue that has hosted such tournaments as the 2008 LG Skins Game.
Desert Willow Golf Resort
Awarded 4.5 stars by Golf Digest magazine, Desert Willow is another multicourse facility that offers a top-rated golfing experience. The Mountain View course is a 6,900 yard, par-72 classic California venue with long, uneven fairways that integrate indigenous California flora and fauna into the field of play. The more challenging Firecliff course, while a bit longer in total yardage, is a much more difficult play with more than 50 bunker and hazard areas, and tough shots such as the par-3, 14th hole that requires precision placement from the tee to a sunken green with bunkers on two sides.
Shadow Ridge Golf Resort
Unlike other Palm Springs courses, the Shadow Ridge, which was designed by championship golfer Nick Faldo, does not try to incorporate the desert terrain into the field of play. The course at Shadow Ridge boasts lush fairways and greens bordered by more than 2,000 trees and shrubs. The course itself is an 18-hole, 6,900 yard, par-71 venue formed in a sideways, lazy figure-8 design. In 2010, Shadow Ridge was chosen by Golf Magazine as one of the top 30 places to play in California.
Longest Course Nearest Palm Springs
The Escena Golf Club, located less than 10 miles from Palm Springs, offers a challenge to golfers looking to measure their driving prowess. This 18-hole course designed by golfing legend Jack Nicklaus covers a distance if 7,211 yards with a par of 72. The course features thousands of palm trees, sloping fairways, and water and sand hazards throughout. Golfers will also find four holes measuring more than 500 yards, including the monstrous No. 1, which measures 611 yards from the championship tees.
Resort Golfing in Palm Springs
The Palm Springs region offers a variety of resorts featuring golf courses. The nearest resort golfing to Palm Springs is the 18-hole Legends courses located at the Tahquitz Creek Golf Resort. The course offers vistas of snow-capped mountains, wide open fairways and stands of palm trees guarding large greens. Putting on the greens, however, represent a major challenge, as they are severely sloped. This par-71 course measures 6,775 yards and features an open, desert "links" style, conducive to walking as well as riding.
Easiest Courses to Walk
In Palm Springs, players can find several courses within 20 miles that are pleasant to walk. The nearest course is the nine-hole Bel Air Greens course. This Tommy Jacobs' designed course at Bel Air Greens in Palm Springs measures 1,675 yards and is a par-32. The course is extremely flat, great for walking, and features its share of sand bunkers.
The Cathedral Canyon Golf Club also offers nine-hole golf courses measuring just more than 3,000 yards each, or golfers can play all 18 holes. The course presents a flat lay-out and features water hazards on over half of the holes in each nine-hole layout.

The North Course measures 7,060 yards (Rating 73.7 / slope 137) from the championship tees, but with 4 sets of tees to play from players of all skill levels can find their game. The South Course features one of the most unique and memorable holes at The Golf Club at Terra Lago. Hole # 2 is a narrow par 4 that runs along a wide canal making anything hit to the right impossible to play, as you approach the green you must cross this canal. The first and only Gary Player course in the desert, the Mission Hills North Course is designed for golfers of all levels and preserves and enhances the natural beauty of the desert environment. The course features 20 acres of lakes, four waterfalls and beautiful landscaping.
The Mission Hills North Course has proved to be a popular one with both public and resort golfers. It is used as an alternative to the Pete Dye Course and is generally easier for the average golfer to play. Player's design makes extensive use of water, with lakes coming into play on 10 holes. On the par-5 11th, water is reachable on all three shots before reaching the green. Three of the course's par-4s - the fifth, eighth and 12th - all feature water in some way. The 11th is the toughest of the par-5s, though a golfer must also be careful on the third hole - which also has a lake in the fairway - and the 17th, with a lake near the green. Both nines end with demanding par-4s with water. The 18th requires a good drive over a lake to a fairway that doglegs to the right.

The Westin Mission Hills Pete Dye Resort Course, in typical Pete Dye character, has pot bunkers, railroad ties and several water hazards. Westin Mission Hills Resort, named to "Golf Magazine's" 1998 list of "Silver Medal Resorts," features two eighteen hole layouts.
At the Westin Mission Hills Pete Dye Resort golf course the fairways are narrow, and the greens are quick. Characteristic Pete Dye challenges include carries over water, hidden pin placements, elevated tees, palm trees and rolling fairways. There are four sets of tees at the Mission Hills Resort course to satisfy every skill level. The Westin Mission Hills Resort course has hosted the California State Open, Senior PGA Tour Qualifying Finals and LPGA Tour.

Adjacent to the spectacular Rancho Las Palmas Resort & Spa is the stunningly beautiful Ted Robinson designed, 27-hole golf course that is the centerpiece of Rancho Las Palmas Country Club.
Three distinct nine hole layouts add a unique flavor to every round played at our Palm Springs golf resort. The gently rolling terrain, palm-tree lined fairways, and incredible mountain vistas are classic California Desert Golf at its very best. The generous fairways of this very player-friendly course wind their way throughout the resort, and with six lakes and infamous Ted Robinson bunkering it provides a memorable challenge for even the best of players. You'll find everything you need for your round at the award-winning golf and tennis professional shops. 760-862-4551
Some of you may know that in December 2010, Southern California (and many other areas) experienced a very large rain storm. This impacted our golf course in a way we couldn't even imagine.
After about a week of rain we had a raging river running through the Rancho Las Palmas Country Club wash.
After the water receded, we were left with MUD, about 25 acres of it and in some areas it was as much as six feet deep!
So we did our homework and brought in Southwest Landscape, based in Huntington Beach, to clean it up and re-build the holes that go through the wash to the tune of $500,000 (yes, that is correct number of zeros).
We decided to take this opportunity to make some improvements and add some yardage to make the course more challenging. Approximately 10 acres of sod was laid and 20 additional acres have been re-seeded. During re-construction, five new tee boxes were added to the North Course, adding approximately 150 yards in additional length. This summer, we will add another 100 yards to the North Course. The North/South 18-hole rotation now plays over 6,400 yards compared to under 6,100 last spring!
And here is the result! The beautiful new North 5 Fairway!
So today's lesson: When life gives you rain and mud, make tee boxes!

Palm Desert Public Golf Courses
Address: 41555 Woodhaven Drive East,
Palm Desert, Ca 92211
Directions: Heading east on the I-10 freeway, exit Washington. Turn right to head South on Washington. Location on the right.
The 18-hole "Woodhaven" course at the Woodhaven Country Club facility in Palm Desert, California features 5,794 yards of golf from the longest tees for a par of 70 . The course rating is 67.1 and it has a slope rating of 118 on Bermuda grass. Designed by Harold Heers Jr., the Woodhaven golf course opened in 1984.
Woodhaven is a private country club that is considered one of the best hidden gems of the desert. The golf course was designed with gentle rolling slopes, narrow fairways, with spectacular mountain views throughout the 18 holes.
You can get off to an easy start here on No. 1, a par-4, playing at 361 yards from the back and 341 from the front. This hole offers a straight-forward layout, but watch out for the bunkers to the left and right as well as around the green. The 5th hole is an interesting and short par-4, measuring 263 yards from the back and 244 from the front.
The narrow fairway may look tempting, but be careful. "A lot of big hitters would like to drive this hole," said Rick Reed, Woodhaven's director of golf, "but it has large trees on the left and a long lake on the right. So it's easy to push your ball into the water or pull it into the trees."
Our signature hole is the photogenic No. 6, a par-3, measuring 165 yards from the back and 118 yards from the forward tees, that is all carry over water. "It's a beautiful hole with a big fountain in the middle of a pond," said Reed. "Sometimes the water can obscure your view of the pin." The 17th also offers possible water trouble. It's one of the two par-5s on the course and plays at 500 yards from the back and 460 yards from the front. Accuracy is important here. "You need to stay in the middle of the fairway," Reed said. "It's easy to go left into the water. But it's also possible to reach the green in two, but you'll have to go over the water on your second shot."

Palm Springs, Palm Desert, La Quinta, Rancho Mirage, Indian Wells Golf Course Reviews
The Palm Springs California area is known for its great golfing. Here you'll find trusted and authentic Palm Springs area golf course reviews from people who have actually played the courses while on vacation in palm springs!
Always play there.Very good service, excellent course
We can't say enough about the wonderful golf courses in and around the area.
Having grass in February made the golf great.
good price, nice course
We joined for the month and golfed nearly every day - nice wide fairways and challenging greens
A well maintained course. Enjoyed golfing there but the wind can be a hindrance as it can pick up later during the day. The restaurant food was great
A favorite golf course for our group! Lots of variety and challenge, and pleasing to the eye. The mandatory ball extraction/drop from the wash is a wise rule. Excellent pro shop welcome and top notch service from bag drop to cart return.
Palm Springs is the golf capitol OF THE WORLD!
Wonderful links course in excellent condition and ice cold water available every third hole---at a rate of $25 for 7AM t-time including cart with GPS---water, rate, course condition, and GPS only found at this course and it was in the best condition---played four other times at other coursed---they did not compasre!
Close to the 10 & to town.
Both course are a good price for palm springs. Greens roll true at both courses and are receptive when you fire a good second shot to the green, fairways and approaches are firm and you get long roll outs when you pound one down the middle. Both are well manicured and both have great practice facilities. Eagle Falls has the better bunkers. Both places have friendly, accommodating staff members, so we never lacked for beer.
Silver Rock is a great course. It is like 25 minutes from the house but well worth the drive.
Nice course if not windy, but we prefered playing The Classic who is one of the nicest course in the area
Both do have good packages and wonderful landscapes... There are several other very good courses in the neighborhood....
Simply an outstanding golf experience.
Friendly staff, good rental clubs and great golf not too far from house.
Great value especially for twilight starting at 2PM or before. The executive course is a great place to warm up.
very good course conditions
Course in great shape for December.
Played Big Horn and Stone Eagle. Both excellent.
Only played 2 of the 126 (I understand) in the area. Enjoyed every minute.
Great course, extremely helpful and friendly staff.
Great course not only for 18 holes but also if you just want to play 9. Very reasonable as well.
Great Golf couses. Indian Wells is a golf experience any golfer would relish. Great courses, service and dining facilities.
What a fabulous course. It is only for a true golf enthusiast but a wonderful "track".
Very good value. The best courses for the money are the two Desert Willow Courses. I really enjoyed Escena too.
played Terra Lago and Escina, had a blast...
beautiful coarse, very resonable and were willing to work with us on the ppl we had.
Nice well maintained course. The wind makes it far far more difficult than its slope would indicate.
We got started late for our round of golf so we didn't get to complete the course but it was lovely.
The construction was terribly noisy! The course itself looked very good, and the club pro was helpful, but the noise/mess made the golfing feel funny.
Ample Golf courses within easy driving distance from our accommodation
Good course, good price, management exceptional - Gary.
golfing is great, and affordable at most courses
Nice course, very good practice facility
Courses are in great shape. The clubhouse personnel are very polite and courteous. Weather was fantastic.
Dad & sons played as many of the golf courses that they could fit in - they loved them all
Both Troon Golf and Kemper Management were excellent and very accommodating
Excellent facility. Great value.
Fantastic golf course in the middle of nowhere.
Very nice course with a great lunch menu.
An amazing golf course, just a short drive away.
Great Golf Course and spectacular view
Classic Club is an excellent golf facility
Well manicured course
The golf course at the Marriott Desert Springs was beautiful and a fun course. They even provided cool towels for the golfers.
PROS: Great layout. Greens rolled true. Great price from golfnow.com CONS: No GPS.
Beautiful course with great greens and the waterfall features were spectacular.
Beautiful birds, scenery and lots of grass to golf on.
Simply the best course to play for the price, especially the twilight rate of around $89.00 (?).
Played Escena,Indian Wells(both),4 PGA WEST courses,Desert Willow and Shadow Ridge. Group favorites were Desert Willow and PGA WEST Nicklaus & TPC.
Most of the courses we play in the valley treat us very well however Desert Willow is exceptional.
Firecliff is excellent and so is Shadow Ridge course.
Beautiful and challenging.
Great public course with challenging holes. The cool towels in 110 degree weather helped also.
These guys made our couples golf tournament a blast! Attention to every fun detail!! Special thanks to Luke and Bruce! Oh ya, and to Lindsay the sweetest drink cart girl!
Beautiful desert course which we enjoyed primarily from deep within the sand traps.
Beautiful golf course and mostly protected from the high winds of Palm Springs. Restaurant was also great.
Good challenging desert course, and a really good rate $39.00 Saturday after noon.
Great golf and service.
Great course at a great price in the summer.
Great course - clubhouse and restaurant - a good value and beautiful setting.
Great services staff; great restaurant; course in really good shape.
Our favorite golf course in Palm Springs.
Very nice, not crowded, gorgeous scenery.
Golf was excellent. Highly recommend
beautiful facility and great golf course. very enjoyable day there.....
Great service and friendly staff. Loved the rental clubs and free balls from Callaway. Restaurant is fabulous
More yardage markers and increase cart service.
Great views Fun.
this two courses treated or group excellent also had a good time at desert falls and indian wells , players course
Excellent course for the price. Very well maintained. Great warm up course for our stay. Everyone there was very pleasant. PGA West was outstanding in all categories.
Great golf and great food. Took 1 hr to get food though
Beautiful newer course. Can be a little windy some days. Nice clubhouse
Great golf course in great condition with a good staff.
Golf course was great and resonably priced.
A must play.
Great value track. Super well manicured and forgiving
Close to the airport and close to the property we rented, this was an excellent golf course with a more than reasonable price.
Well priced and splendidly tended. Weather was great on this particular summery saturday. Not too sweltering.
DON"T know only guys went to play.
We loved everything about the golf experience at Escena---the golf---the proshop---the restaurant and bar---everything ----We played other courses too, but loved Escena the best.
Excellent track and service is extrodinaire.
Very friendly staff. Beautiful view of the mountains as well as a course that is always in excellent condition. Just watch out for those windy days.
close to house, beautifully kept fairways and beautiful view of mountains. not too hard and not too easy. nice bar/patio restaurant.
fabulous golf course
great golf location
Wow! what a view!
Wonderful course, good food, overall an excellent experience
Course is close to this property. Course re-opened under new management. Some brown spots due to summer heat, but a very fair course with friendly staff. 4 sets of tees, but remember that Nicklaus doesn't beleive in short 3 par holes! For a splurge go to La Quinta and play any of the PGA West Courses-Stadium Course is tough, but it's worth the money and high score.
Wonderful course, and great management.
Very close to our location - very inexpensive (we played twilight for $40.00) and a beautiful wide open course.
Excellent course at an affordable price
One of the best conditioned courses in the area. Friendly staff and tees to suit all abilities
We played the south course. Great price and excellent layout. Also, very close to this home.
VERY ATTRACTIVE AND MODERATELY CHALLENGING COURSE. MY FAVOURITE OF SIX WE PLAYED
Country club-like course but open to the public. Beautiful grounds and the staff and service is excellent!
Play the south course. Get the discount card if you plan to golf there for at least 6 rounds. Great track and close to the desert on a lot of the holes. Greens too slow for top quality play but I suppose that's typical for a public course. It would be nice if they were rolled for early morning play.
Great price, great layout and reasonably priced if you use Golfnow.com
Nearby, good price on Standby Golf.
Excellent golf course.
Great course and friendly people
Both Indian Canyon courses are great! They differ in style and age. North course is older; south course is new. Love them both!
great golf course with super view, it would be even better if not so hot (112 degree in Aug)
Great golf course
We enjoyed playing at both the North and South courses.
Indian Canyon South is a beautiful course, well kept, and fun to play.
Beautiful course. The nine & dine is great. The food in the dining room is excellent.
Beautiful course, well-tended and scenic.
very nice course.. our group of 15 were looked after very nicely and felt very welcome by all the staff
Hard to really find a poorly conditioned course in Palm Springs. Both courses at Indian Canyons are close
Beautiful golf course; very friendly and helpful staff.
We like the south course. Nice people that work here and an open course not crowded by houses on each side.
Affordable and no waiting on any of the holes.
Excellent Golf Course, Desert Dunes was as well.
Great course, great price.
Favorite course, no wind.
The changes to the north course over the last three years have greatly improved the course. The staff that seemed very unhappy several years ago are either gone or are in a much better frame of mind. The course is in great shape with only the fourth hole needing some work. Pace of play is the best around. I have never played here in over 4 hours and 15 minutes. Most folks that play here are decent golfers so pace is never an issue. Finally after playing stop by the bar which is a very cool design built in the late 50's or early 60's.
Played both North and South courses. Loved the Amy Alcott designed south course.
Indian Canyon South is a great track. Plays slow but the vistas are worth it while you enjoy a cocktail cart side and wait for your next shot!
Golf was awesome and Indian Canyons was our favorite (golfed at 6 different courses).
We played Escena also but Indian Canyons was the favorite among our group. Great condition, incredibly beautiful surroundings. highly recommended.
One of the finest golf course we have ever played.
great course, close to the house
The greens were perfect and the fairways were immaculate. By far, one of the best course I have played.
Fantastic service and golf course
Great courses, and we started off day one of six with a Hole in One by my wife (her fiirst)!
nice course with no houses close to the course. Less wind than courses to the north.
Beautiful course right at the base of the mountains, good marshals to speed up play. Buy a package if you're going to be in PS for a month+. We also loved Desert Willow in Palm Desert
Two nice courses, great practice facilities
My favorite golf course that provides a great experience for both my husband and myself. Great golf course for women.
Gorgeous course and won't beat you up (like Desert Willow and Indian Wells)!
Excellent set up - especially the South Course very well measured for Ladies and in excellent condition. The North Course is a bit longer but a good test of golf. Very convenient to the property (Just across road)
Very good serice and the course is great for all levels of players
Great golf course and reasonably priced
It was 110 degrees outside, but we still managed to hit the ball nicely. Its a very forgiving course.
very playable yet varity of holes and excellant condition
South course is beautiful, winding through the mountains, and the wind never blows. Played the north course this year for the first time and can't believe we waited six years to discover this course. True resort course that winds through the housing development with a full service clubhouse.
We played 8 different courses in Palm Springs. This course was our favorite as the course was in very good condition and reminded me of my favorite course in Waihalea. the staff was very accomodating and friendly. We came back just to eat breakfast and lunch which was very good. The price was good and they even welcomed my black lab to be able to join us on the patio.
Played for $30/person. Course was in great shape and the greens were rolling true. 3 of us finished in 3 1/2 hours. Looking forward to going back to this course.
beautiful golf course
We had a great time golfing
Everyone should play this course at least once.
Even if you don't get to golf this course, visit the clubhouse. The history there with the Bob Hope Classic and all the people that have golfed there. from Presidents to Golf Pro's, it's very interesting.
Have breakfast at the twenty6. Awesome Benedict's with a great setting
mountain course was fun, but it was a little old/warned type of a feel to it.
The mountain course is a must for every competent golfer
Mesquite Golf & Country Club
Reasonable with beautiful mountain views
Good golf at a great price.
very nice course - reasonably priced
Close and easy to get to from condo. Very nice public course.
great location, private club
Nicklaus Tournament course was absolutely awesome.
Tough, scenic holes, memorable. Great selection of various courses.
Best course in the area. Difficult but very well groomed and challenging layout.
All golfing is great in Palm Springs!
The golf combined with the weather was perfect.
The most beautiful course I have seen
Very good courses for the price, pleasant staff and good pace of play.
Without a doubt, the Resort Course was one of the nicest courses I have ever played!!! A breath-taking round of golf and the breakfast and lunch buffets that were included were great. I highly recommend this golf experience to anyone!!!
Very nice fairways and greens excellent sharp. Stay out of the rough grass grabs your club.
Affordable and fairly well kept, undergoing what seemed to be major construction so there were some non-traditional hazards but overall a course I'd play again.
Great deal, we paid $55.00 for green fees with cart and lunch and two drinks!
great value. $60 including breakfast, dinner, and 2 beer. The course was in excellent condition.
The course was great but the free lunch was disgusting looking. No one even touched it.
Nice course with some challenges (Legends course) not much water and good for all levels of play.
I played golf here 4 times and loved it. The courses are in great condition and they had a wonderful deal to play both 18s which included breakfast, lunch and 2 drink tickets.
Nice courses. there were soooo many too mention them all!
cost to much
Great Food , fun gifts, music, whats not to love! Golfing at the Tahquitz Golf Course. Coupon in Magazine got us round of Golf ,cart ,rental clubs and 2 beers for $55. A great deal for our guys. Enjoyed Joshua Tree National Park and the Indian Canyon reservation.Awesome Oasis! The Tram was also a hit, some hiked ,some shopped, some watched a game at the bar.
We played Tahquitz Creek Saturday morning and had a great time. The course was recommended by Vacation Palm Springs and the service we received their was top notch just as VPS!
Golf was great. No waiting. No reservation needed. VERY REASONABLE RATES ( Challenging course...GREAT SUMMER RATES ($17 included a cart and two drinks). No waiting...no reservations needed.
played the resort course, great condition, lots of character, club house was modern, food 7 drinks were good, lots of tv's for sports, only $35.
Great layout, fun course. Greens not in very good shape.
Close to downtown. Course is in good condition. The pro shop was so-so. Don't book any tee times after a tournament. We were pushed back one hour and unable to play the intended course
Good. well maintained and cost effective course suitable for players of all levels
Very nice course...Fast greens.
Best deal ever in Palm Springs.Beautiful established course.
Good price, includes breakfast, lunch and two beer.
Both courses fun!
excellent course and frequently has golf deals
Pretty course, reasonably priced prefered the Resort course over the Legend course.
well run, course kept in great shape
Good solid golf course reasonably priced
course was a little rough due to the hot season but still very nice, easy to get on.
Can't beat the price!
Found the green fees which included cart very reasonable ($19 for nine and $39 for 18). Also golfed Tahquitz Creed Legends ($49 for 18 included breakfast and lunch)
We played the Legends course. Great course with some scenic views of the mountains. For just $45 it was a deal.
Great golf value.
Always great shape and they treat us well
Not very well maintained. Lots of debris on the fairways. Significant amount of birds so some of the T boxes were extremely dirty.
Best bang for your buck
Very nice although it was very windy the day we played it
I enjoyed these golf course very much the staff are very friendly. We had book for five at dessert princess and they were very acommadating gettin all five together.
Great little course to take the grandkids or other relative novice golfers to play nine holes. Affordable family fun without the cost or itimitation factor of Palm Springs' many top flight courses.
This is a great tough Golf Course. The views and scenery are second to none and the challenge of the greens is great.
2 stars for the other 2 courses at La Quinta and Desert Dunes
The Westin Mission Hills & Indian Wells were just outstanding. We also played the Marriott Resort course and it was overcrowded (5 1/2 hour round)and over priced.
We played/stayed in late June, so the rates were silly low ($20 w/ cart & range balls). We also played the PGA courses ($75 for unlimited holes in 1 day w/ cart & range balls). Never saw a group ahead or behind us the whole weekend. all carts had coolers so bring a towel to cool off.
Wonderful well maintained course for maximum enjoyment.
