Perfect.
(5 of 5 Stars)

"From the moment we pulled up to the moment we left, our stay in this home has been perfect. From the architectural design, the layout, the interior design to the great beds and every kitchen gadget one might need - everything was very well thought out and much appreciated by our family of 3. A little on the outside of the town meant very quiet evenings. The (gorgeous) pool was too cold to enjoy at this time of the year (or was that due to the unusual cold snap?) especially considering how much money we paid to heat it. (The heater worked properly but temps were cool.) All of us had wished we had bikes to explore the surroundings and town."

Mesquite Country Club Condo 2 Bedroom Unit
(4 of 5 Stars)

"The condo was enjoyable and clean except for the decks which needed to be cleaned before using. The location was excellent and the neighbors friendly. Come on down the weather is fine with lots of good restaurants, hiking trails, golf courses etc. It is easy to rent a condo from your company. When we arrived we could not get through the entrance gate until a resident came an let us in since the key card and remote gate opener where in the lock box of the unit. It would be good to inform a new tenant who to contact to get into the community upon arrival."

Plentry Of Bedrooms!
(5 of 5 Stars)

"Huge & very long swimming pool, citrus on the property, and 7 real bedrooms (6 with private bath) make this an ideal property for a big extended family. It is located next to the old Palm Springs Racquet Club (now defunct) in an older area, so that the location is fine for walks, but not for walks to downtown urban life. The reservation and service from the rental company was all professionally handled, no hitches."

Wonderful Experience
(4 of 5 Stars)

"Tuscan Villa is located in a serene neighborhood and yet only a minute or two from central Palm Springs. Great view of the surrounding mountains, very comfortable Master Bedroom and great layout...office for work (if you should so desire), two nice guestrooms, large kitchen (great for holiday cooking) and a backyard with sitting area and pool/spa. Justin, Nate, Alex and Donna are great to work with! A little bit more foilage (flowers, small palms or garden) in the backyard would bring the property up in panache."

Great Location Close To Downtown Palm Springs
(4 of 5 Stars)

"Great modern home at the base of the mountains, close to downtown Palm Springs with a beautiful yard for relaxing. Home provided ample space for our group to spread out. There's lots to do in Palm Springs - we enjoyed the Living Desert, hiking through Tahquiz Canyon and the canyons on the Indian Reservation, visit to Joshua Tree, eating great meals: Tropicale, Falls Steak House, Tuscan, etc. The property managers we interacted with during our stay were very responsive. Home itself was a little dated - showing some wear and tear in bathrooms and kitchen. Also had some problems with the heater in the guest casita - we had to relight it 8 times during out stay. Might be time to have it replaced."

Palm Springs December 2009 Vacation
(3 of 5 Stars)

"We were the first to rent the home. There were a few issues that would have been fixed had we not been the first to rent it. The main issue was no internet access although the ad for it said WiFi. There was a DSL modem but it was not WiFi, and the DSL never worked while we were there. The best feature of the home is the pool. The next best feature was the fact that the beds are very comfortable. The reservation team was great. We called the property manager to fix a toilet that ran and they responded quickly. They were not able to get us internet access during our stay. The vacation would have been better for our family if the Internet WiFI had been present like it was advertised. I had to run out each day to check my business status. The next thing would have been modern technology. The TV in the living room is old technology non-HDTV. None of the bedrooms had a TV so this presented problems if one wanted to watch a football game, and our daughter wanted to watch something else."

We Loved the House: Magnificient Pool, Well Equipp...
(5 of 5 Stars)

"We were a 3 generational family of 5 who know Palm Springs well. We loved the house: it is extremely comfortable, offering lots of privacy yet abundant communal space. The pool is magnificent, the kitchen is well equipped. We had planned lots of outings, but the house was so captivating that we essentially never left! This is an ideal house for several couples to share. The service was prompt and courteous. I especially appreciated the after hours "on call" person. All requests/concerns were handled immediately. The house needs more blankets. The lighting in several of the rooms is insufficient; there are multiple light switches, in too many areas, each controlling only a few lights, often hard to find."

Just Okay...but Good For Families
(3 of 5 Stars)

"Likes: Liked the nice layout of the home and the updated furnishings. Each bedroom had no shared walls, were large with very comfortable beds, three of which opened out to the pool. Loved the pool/jacuzzi and the beautiful, lush landscaping. Loved the renovated kitchen. Dislikes: Home had no instructions. We had to call handyman upon arrival because things were not working correctly at first. Stove had a gas leak and could not be used during our Christmas visit. BBQ Grill was quirky and had to be turned on a certain way to make it work. Outdoor lights had gone off timer due to an outage and had to be reset, unbeknownst to us. Master bedroom sliding door was broken and had to be kept closed the whole time (sliders were worn). Kitchen was poorly appointed for a large home. No dish/kitchen towels (only paper towels), no cutting board (a nice big wood one was immediately purchased and provided), no serving plates (only one was available. Fortunately we brought holiday themed serving dishes and were able to cover up for what it lacked) and no serving spoons (I suppose this kitchen assumed everyone does take out). These are basics that should be in a rental home. Upon arrival, we discovered two of the lounge chairs were ripped. Two new ones were immediately provided but quality was not as nice as the broken ones. Overall: We made the most of what we had under the circumstances and tried to enjoy our family holiday. However, it was not ideal. No one should have to deal with service/repairs on the very limited time there was for us to have a good time. Dealing with repairs literally interrupted our family dinner. It was not fun. We like going to Palm Springs for rest and relaxation so it is key that the accommodations are in excellent working condition. Would recommend visiting Taquitz Canyon for hiking, the Tram, checking out the Ace Hotel or Parker for a few meals and also checking out the main strip if they've never been before. Not sure if I would recommend property where we stayed (too many issues intruded on our short stay and it was not worth it). 1. Provide detailed instructions to operate the following: lights, pool, stove, BBQ grill, fireplace (only instructions provided were for TV) 2. Management should do advance inspections/walkthroughs for "week of" HOLIDAY rentals since rates are at a premium. To be told there was a non-working oven was unacceptable. Many of the issues that happened could have been handled accordingly if someone came a day before and tested everything out. At the point we found out about it, it was too late. Also, it was inconvenient to waste our vacation dealing with the service/repair person. Not the best way to start our holiday. 3. Other "minor" suggestions: Pool towels would be nice. There were adequate towels but having a designated set of pool towels would have been better. Add a third bathroom off the hall where the 4th bedroom is. Would make the property much more ideal."

Better Than A Hotel
(4 of 5 Stars)

"Better than a hotel The house was very comfortable. The kitchen well equipped and it was convenient to have basic staples there when we arrived. The yard, small pool and spa were very nice. We got the wrong combination for the gate to the community. Fortunately, people arriving let us in. The pullout couches were quite uncomfortable. Beds would have been much better."

Excellent Family Get Away.
(4 of 5 Stars)

"The home was very spcacious and comfortable. All the necessities were there and it was walking distance to downtown. We engjoyed the heating pool quite a bit specially the kids. They had a good time. Thanks to Justin and Nate for all their help. The pool floor needed a bit of cleaning. Oveall pool was functinal but the floor had some dirt at the bottom. The drain in the bathroom shower in the master bedroom needed cleaning/unclog. It was slow."

Awesome
(5 of 5 Stars)

"This home has everything one needs for a large group. There are not many homes available in the area that can comfortably accomodate 15 people. Donna was great at the front end and Mark was very helpful trying to resolve internet issues as her backup. Somewhat difficult to learn how to navigate all the electronics, audio/video and pool/spa buttons in a short stay. Had some problems with the modem for the internet, perhaps something more robust is needed for a home that size. Modem needed multiple reboots which I could do, but the modem was locked in a closet, inaccessible."

TruBlu
(2 of 5 Stars)

"In brief this home was disappointing. It was rated as a 5 star and was anything but... The rental agency was awesome but Do Not stay here at this home...we went to Cafe Italia which was amazing on Hwy 111 and Cook...Village Court I think... excellent if you go to the early bird...entertaining and interesting...the Cabazon outlets were ok but not exciting to us...we took a circle tour with the Dillon Road and it was interesting... Portia was marvelous...she tried to make this a good vacation but the home was not her fault...we had our aged mother and so having repairmen was not an option...we fixed a good number of things ourselves. This home needs some major repairs to make it a five star..the saving point for it was the yard which was also neglected as the gardener told us he was told by the owner of this home to only do the bare minimum as they were trying to sell..."

Nice Place
(4 of 5 Stars)

"The place was nice and cozy. Justin was helpful and courteous with the reservation. We had a problem with the internet connection. Rick and Mark were very responsive to our needs and responded in a very helpful and professional way. Need a More detailed description of how to get into the complex to park closest to the condo rental and where to find the keys lock box."

A Place In Time
(3 of 5 Stars)

"we were very happy, but there were a few probs that did sort of effect our stay. the back bedroom was absolutely freezing and the middle bedroom was boiling hot!! we had some issues with the DVD players and had to switch them around...one should really be on the main tv in the livingroom (one in a bedroom was broken) really, that was it!!! the rental process was SO easy and the management was super nice and very attentive when our pool heater broke. we needed some good hikes to go on, you guys should consider including maps to some. the visitor's center was sort of useless with that info! maybe a calendar of events? Mark did a great job trying to get our pool heater fixed."

Our Thanksgiving Holiday
(4 of 5 Stars)

"The property was beautiful. The house was laid out extremely well, with everyone able to have their own space. We really enjoyed our time there and would come back again. Justin was really really great to work with - he spoke to me several times before we arrived, and helped me with the Internet once we got to the house. He was a pleasure."

Beautiful Home In A Wonderful Neighborhood
(4 of 5 Stars)

"The experience was very pleasant and your company is very accomodating and informative. The home was as promised, we were looking for a home that met the same standards of our personal properties. This home accomodated 6 adults plus our dog very well. I would definitely recommend your company in a heart beat. Your staff (Vacation Palm Springs team) all receive 10 stars, I spoke to all of the reservation team as I was searching for the right home for our Thanksgiving holiday. The only thing that comes to mind, I'm kind of a clean freak. The house could have used a once over before we arrived. Cob webs and dust bunnies were thruout the house, probably because it had not been rented in a while?"

Nice Home, Great Pool
(4 of 5 Stars)

"We had a terrific time. The pool was wonderful. We cooked a great Thanksgiving meal in the large kitchen. Taking the tram to the top of Mt. Jacinto is a must. Hiking in Indian Canyon is also fantastic. As is the Taqhuitz Canyon hike. Reservation was easy. The recycling bin was overflowing when we got there. There was no room for our recycling."

A Comfortable House
(3 of 5 Stars)

"My family and I have rented this house before and we really like it; it's a gorgeous house, with a great comfortable vibe. It's a great location, close to downtown areas, and with easy access to everywhere. Lots of good amenities; lots of sun, big kitchen (pretty well stocked with cooking/serving dishes, pans, etc.-- not always the experience in a rental house!) Attractive, comfortable bedrooms, plenty of bathrooms -- not to mention a great pool. Those are the things we loved. Las Palmas Elegance is definitely our favorite propertys to stay in in Palm Springs. Once there, we love heading down to Mr. Parker's Meridian Hotel for spa, drinks, brunch, dinners -- it's a great place. Ruth's Chris restaurant is a great steakhouse, and Koffi is our favorite coffee spot. If you're a plane enthusiast or a history buff, the WWII air museum is a great place to go. Lots of docents there, guys (and women) who actually flew those planes in war and can give you stories about their direct experience. Always informative and moving. The tram to the top of the mountain is great as well. Everyone we talked to from reservations to assistance once we arrived were great. Even the guy who showed up to try to fix the spa was really nice. Our main issue is that the maintenance on the property in general seemed a little neglected. I wish it had been tested, given a thorough going over before we arrived so that we wouldn't have had to call and bother the property managers."

Roomy And Pleasant
(4 of 5 Stars)

"This home was nice. It was definately roomy and everyone enjoyed their stay there. Three of the bedrooms were huge and worked out well to have all the kids in our families share the big bedrooms. The normal sized room being on the oposite side of the house wroked well for us. Everyone I spoke to was helpful."

Great Contemporary Home In The Hills
(4 of 5 Stars)

"I like the original strip on Palm Springs, great 1950's mid century shopping Loved the space, interiors, neighborhood right next to the mountains and no neighbors on one side. This neigborhood very good PS location. You have great service and selection of very beautiful properties. I wish you had other locales that you serviced as well. Bring eye shades for sleeping. Use the company's (Vacation Palm Springs) 24 hr service if neccessary as very responsive. Loved the hiking at indian canyon and other spots. Don't shop for food before you come up, great ralphs right down the street. Portia and Nate were just great. Tech assistance who came out right away was excellent. Service outstanding and almost best part of the trip. made it VERY easy to arrange and feel comfortable about. Very rare these days. Suggestion: get the tech stuff together: TV's cable and heater on pool gizmo too difficult to work. maybe put shades on windows in bedrooms. some were covered some were not so the light really came thru but we wore eye covers."

TG In The Desert
(4 of 5 Stars)

"Probably one of the best equipped vacation rentals we've ever had. Kitchen was great. The beds and towels were awesome. It was really nice to have plenty of outdoor seating and floats for the pool, etc. I will recommend the property to others....we really liked the location and the house itself. It was nice to have the surround sound equipment in the living room, but none of us could get the theatre sound to work right and we all have home theatre systems - a very minor issue. Also, we had to wash a lot of the glassware before using it....some looked like they hadn't been washed well - also minor."
