Tucked inside the historic and luxurious Colony Palms Hotel, the Purple Palm restaurant was inspired by the hotel’s first owner and Purple Gang member Al Wertheimer, a bootlegger from Detroit.

Embracing its original identity as a 1930s speakeasy that once played host to a raucous clientele of the Purple Gang and Hollywood’s elite, today the restaurant’s relaxed, social atmosphere and indoor-outdoor setting makes it the perfect place to enjoy a classic cocktail at the wraparound bar or dine poolside under the stars.

Join Purple Palm restaurant daily for breakfast, lunch, dinner or light bites in the poolside cabanas.

The ambience is very pretty and the food and specialty cocktails were delicious. It's pricey, but a great option for a 'special' night out.
