The layout of the home was so functional and inviting. The themes and decor definitely enhance the Palm Springs experience. The the backyard and pool are so spacious and laid out to enjoy the space.
Beautifully decorated. Everything you need to prepare good food and spend time with family. This was our 10th Palm Springs trip, and our favorite house! Hope to visit again.

We had a wonderful stay at Casa d’Oro. We enjoyed swimming in the pool during the day and relaxing in the spa at night. The backyard is very private and fully enclosed, so our dogs were able to run around and it felt like a private oasis. We also enjoyed listening to records on the record player. There are lots of restaurants nearby so we were able to order and pick up dinner every night.

The pros - Loved the saltwater pool it was amazing and the main reason for booking! We were able to bring our dog which was awesome! Loved the keyless easy check in and not having to go the office. The house was clean and fairly comfortable and we loved the record player and fun decorations/nic nacs. The kitchen was well stocked. There’s a garage to park your car if you don’t want it sitting in the sun. Vacasa had good customer service. They were quick to respond to our issues and the maintenance guy they sent out was friendly and helpful.

The cons - first and foremost they have a strict 4 pm check in and 10 am check out. We will not rent from them again for this reason if we can help it because I feel like it is cutting our vacation short and barely gives us any time on those days to enjoy the property once you unpack/pack. I know they need time to clean but other rentals make it work with a normal 2-3 pm check in and 11-12 pm check out which in my opinion is much more reasonable. It’s not my favorite neighborhood to walk around. The AC didn’t seem to cool the house well and 74 was the lowest it would go. I run hot at night and tossed and turned the whole first night even with a ceiling fan, the air just felt warm and stagnant. Vacasa tried to fix the problem but unfortunately nothing seemed to help. The last issue was a hornets nest. The hornets kept flying to the pool for water and even though vacasa came out and sprayed they still remained an issue. I don’t blame them for that obviously it’s something that’s out of their control but it’s a safety issue that got in the way of our limited pool time and they should remove the nest completely before they have further guests.
