THINGS TO KNOW

Outdoor music is prohibited. Music that is played indoors must not be heard outdoors. City ordinance states that any music that is audible from the property line is a violation. People noise during the day is permissible but must be measured and reasonable. Daytime is considered 10:00 am to 10:00 pm.
For stays 29-nights or more, additional discounts may be available, please contact Vacasa for more information.
The utility deposit is $1,500 for 28 nights with $375 added for each additional week the guest stays.

House was perfect! The house had everything we needed. Location was great. Walked around the neighborhood a lot and the whole area is lovely. Even had a tour group go by that was talking about the house. Loved the little camper in the backyard. We had breakfast out there a couple of times. Not far from downtown and only a mile from a great hike at Tahquitz Canyon. Note: house does not list that they have a hairdryer so I brought one - there we’re actually two available.

Spacious home, well decorated with updates amenities, 3 BR (one with its own bathroom), large pool area, hot tub, outdoor fire pit, nice neighborhood. We booked last minute due to an international trip cancellation due to COVID during the xmas holidays, so inventory low and likely why expensive units were left. The home was really nice but not sure worth the price, particularly with hefty Vacasa fees on top.

Three generations in my family enjoyed Thanksgiving dinner poolside on the patio at The Shasta at Twin Palms. We loved this house, including the décor, the light bright rooms, and the wonderful outdoor space. We paid to heat the pool, which was well worth it, especially for entertaining my 9 year old.

We spent 3 glorious days at the Shasta at Twin Palms & now wish we booked a longer trip! Everything from the storybook mid-century modern neighborhood to the interior design & the outdoor pool area was awesome. Saturday we spent 6 hours (!) in the pool lounging, playing cornhole & hanging out in the incredible vintage Shasta Trailer. After dinner we relaxed by the super cool fire pit & enjoyed the amazing Palm Springs evening. The house is fully stocked, has comfy beds/furniture & great mountain views. Plus the property is fenced & completely private. We'll definitely stay here again.

This home was lovely and in a nice area. The only complaints that we had were the cleanliness. We arrived to what smelled like moldy flowers (dead on top of one of the shelves) and a very dirty pool. Not to mention dog hair on the rugs and a dirty tile floor. The lounge chairs outside were also very dirty. Other than that, we loved the pool (after we cleaned it ourselves) and the fact that we were very close fo downtown.

This home was just perfect. So comfortable and delightful decorated with mid century treasures. We spent every day lounging in and by the pool. Plenty of pool towels, super comfy beds, ample seating poolside and the kitchen was stocked with everything you could possibly need. We loved our stay and hope to return!

Pros: This is a historic home in a Krisel neighborhood that is amazing to walk through (one of the founders of MCM), the backyard is outstanding and has a great pool, hot tub and fire pit, good bedroom layout, and the kitchen included everything we needed. We did not use the Shasta trailer but I’m sure kids would find it entertaining.

Cons: The dishwasher door was broken, there are perceivably a lot of rules, the AC can’t be lowered below 76, and the pool pump seemed to be weak so there was a good amount of debris.

Would we stay again? Yes.

This house blew all our expectations out of the water! Everything was beautiful and gave us the whole Palm Springs experience! The pool was amazing and I loved that there was different hangout spots outside including the fire pit, the cabana, and the cute little trailer. Loved that this house was dog friendly...our dog loved the pool! The house was stocked with everything we needed including spices and oil in case you forgot anything. Would definitely come back here again!

We booked the Shasta for a long weekend for a much needed getaway. It was perfect for our little family of five (6 if you include the pup). The house was immaculately clean and perfectly set up. The pool and hot tub were amazing. It did not disappoint. We cannot wait to go back!

This home is AMAZING. Starting with the neighborhood which is like transporting you back to the rat pack era with the most exquisite mid-century modern homes. When you pull up, you’re on a corner lot so it’s really spacious. The house is stunningly decorated to the style of the home. The pool is a really nice size. Some amazing surprises that you get with the house— fully stocked kitchen. I mean they have everything including spices! The pool toys are plentiful. There’s a lovely cabana to lounge in as the sun moves around the property and you need shade. The Palm Springs sign near the pool is a perfect Instagram moment. And last but not least, the Shasta trailer. So cool. Our son (10) decided it was his private clubhouse and spent evenings reading and watching on his iPad in there. If you want a getaway that is close to everything that epitomizes Palm Springs style and living, this is the house for you!

This is a beautiful, very clean, very comfortable, very well furnished and equipped midcentury house with a great swimming pool and lots of places to get out of the sun when necessary. It is in a very convenient location, within easy walking distance to shopping and restaurants. Wonderful place for a relaxing vacation!

We have stayed at many vacation homes in Palm Springs and The Shasta at Twin Palms is our favorite. Amazing architecture,furnished with cool mid century furnishings, comfy beds and a well-equipped kitchen for full scale entertaining. The Shasta trailer was a fun vintage addition to the outdoor living space.The pool area had plenty of seating and shade, with amazing views of the mountains. A perfect backdrop for our nightly corn hole games! This quiet neighborhood was close to downtown trendy restaurants and our favorite coffee shop,however we rarely wanted to leave this amazing property. Can`t wait to go back again!
