New Townhome With A 'mod' Flair   (5 of 5 Stars)

"Contemporary townhome with current, trendy fixtures. Mod decor. Private pool and spa a huge plus. Need a button somewhere to shut off the wind. Otherwise property very well kept. On arrival we found one of the blinds broken and a screen off its track, but we were able to repair both rather than call it in. Sergio and Iris were very helpful on getting the spa heat activated. ** Owner has upgraded blinds ** Online and fax transactions very smooth. Very friendly staff when talking before and during trip."

Mesquite Condo   (4 of 5 Stars)

"Great location. Quiet. Dog friendly. Central, great for walking. Lived up to our expectations. Would like to have rented this property again for 1 but it was on a Short Sale."

Convenient Palm Springs Location   (4 of 5 Stars)

"The condo is near the intersection of two major Palm Springs streets so it is easy to drive anywhere. It is also convenient to walk to restaurants, grocery store, library, coffee shops. The place is quiet at night -- the incessant leaf blowers used by the gardeners got old but the grounds are well kept and the place looks nice. The condo is well furnished altho the furniture and carpets could stand to be cleaned. We got busy and washed windows, swept decks and wiped down walls so we felt better about the place. Even so we had planned to rent the place again for 2012 but it has been rented already by someone else. We felt the place could be cleaner. There are several things broken at the unit which we mentioned on the check out form left at the condo. We had an issue securing a pedestrian gate key but that was quickly resolved. Staff treated us very well."

Best Backyard On The Block   (5 of 5 Stars)

"Such a sweet spot... Great vibe... not overly ornate... comfortable and clean... nice decorating... fantastic back yard and view out to the golf course. Must turn on the tikis and fireplace at night to get the full experience. My only beef is that the grill isnt quite large enough (no puns intended), and in this day and age, the flatscreen could be bigger as well. Bigger grill. Bigger TV. Chris (on the property manager team) was great; reachable, efficient, and relaxed."

Midcentury Sun Rental   (4 of 5 Stars)

"The house was the perfect midcentury style for the Palm Springs experience. There were a couple of maintenance issues but they were not a major detractor. The neighborhood was great and very close to downtown. Our suggestions: Check deck furniture for broken pieces, fix the jacuzzi so that it actually bubbles, Provide a remote for the living room ceiling fan, make sure the beds are properly set up. The service team was prompt and courteous."

Spacious And Pleasant Home   (4 of 5 Stars)

"The house was much larger than ones we had rented in the past and had a lot of pleasant spaces to sit and relax. The layout was nice. The house needed a little work. The master bedroom was very dark and dingy and needed updating. Also there was some damage (stains) on the ceiling of the hall. Finally, there were cigarette butts out by the pool. Overall though, the house provided us with a wonderful holiday. We loved the huge living room / dining room area. It was enormous! Good service. The last couple of years we had problems with the pool heat, but this time the pool was ready to go!"

I Liked The Title You All Use   (4 of 5 Stars)

"I would paint the outside as when we drove up it was deceiving and looked a bit run down. I have recommended to two people already and they feel the same way about the staff at VPS."

Lovely Yet Windy   (4 of 5 Stars)

"A lovely home in a nice neighborhood with a much needed metal wall around the property to block the famous Santa Ana winds. Decorations were a "surprise and delight" in each room. Ants were in kitchen by second day. Pool took a while to get heated but once it was we lived in it. iPod station was nice perk. Need a Manuel for the tv/DVD. Never did figure it out in living room. Bedrooms were easy for tv Support staff here was kind to work with. But pool guy took too long to come, 6 hours. Pool should have been heated per our contract before we arrived. Lost a day in the pool. Staff credited us, but it was a bummer"

Condo Rental   (3 of 5 Stars)

"It was fine. There was a tree outside the living room balcony and lots of lovely birds. Kitchen was very well furnished. Left several suggestions. Biggest problem was extremely slow Internet service. There was no mailbox key. I finally got a key to the gate so I could walk outside. All were helpful."

Panorama   (4 of 5 Stars)

"The main rooms of this house were very bright and airy. Plenty of room for everybody. The backyard, although small and triangular had a great , clear view of the mountains. The neighbours are all distant and you can enjoy the yard in great peace and quiet. Some of the toilet handles do not work well. They should be checked. The garage stenches and is unpleasant when doing washes/drying. Also the smell from the garage comes through the house when heating or air conditioning is on. Some of the cords on the blinds are pretty tough to pull up and down and might need lubrication. Finally an inexpensive Black and white printer would be very helpful, especially for those of us staying longer term. Both Portia and Justin helped administratively. When one was busy the other one took over. My experience with both of these two was flawless. Portia picked up the ball when Justin was busy and didn't skip a beat. Brian K. the property manager was extremely attentive and helpful. When there were start up problems when we first arrived he was there immediately tending to them. He made some great suggestions to us and showed us through other homes that would be potential alternatives if Panorama was occupied."

Happy At The Movie Colony Villa   (4 of 5 Stars)

"The spaciousness was great. Nobody falling over each other. Kitchen had plenty of room and amenities. Pool was great with plenty of seating. Wi-Fi only worked in the two living areas. No service at the desk areas in the bedrooms. I think an upgrade may be required. All service was professional. I've been using this company's service successfully for many years."

Luxury Home Palm Springs - We Didn't Want To Leave   (5 of 5 Stars)

"We had a great experience from the moment I spoke Justin at Vacation Palm Springs. Every step of renting was smooth and trouble free. We spent a week at the Villa Grand and didnt feel we needed to leave, the pool was great and the tennis court kept the kids happy. Every room had its own bathroom which is a plus when you have a large group. Service was great."

Spacious And Homey. Great For Families   (4 of 5 Stars)

"We had a wonderful experience with our family at the house. Our favorite times were just spent at home swimming and BBQing. Beautiful views and very quiet neighborhood. Plan on spending a lot of time there in order to take advantage of the privacy and relaxing atmosphere. Pre-arrival service was great. We didn't have any issues during our stay, so we never had to contact the team."

Vintage Glam   (5 of 5 Stars)

"We loved the vintage look and feel of the home. The house was equipped with everything we could possibly need and the layout was perfect for us. We really enjoyed walking every morning in such a great neighborhood. Next time we want to stay for a month! The only trouble we had was a glitch with the pool heater but the service team was very quick at responding to our calls."

Luxury, Comfort, Privacy And Great Views   (4 of 5 Stars)

"great pool, spa and outdoor kitchen, lots of space in and outside, great furnishings and kitchen. Outdoor shower is just great. ensure spa heating switch issue is fixed (but I believe this is now resolved with the new relays fitted). Large screen TV remote is complex to use. Ceasr and Portia did a great jpob on the reservation, and the heating problem with pool/spa was addressed by the prop manager team."

Convenient Location   (3 of 5 Stars)

"I liked that it was in close proximity to everything. I was disappointed with the kitchen supplies and the cupboards. A couple of the cupboard doors actually came off their hinges and my husband had to re-attach them. My main suggestion would be to have a simpler system of turning the pool and spa on without programming. When we had someone come over to program the pool and spa after our arrival, somehow the spa was mistakenly programmed to come on at midnight and ran till 6 a.m. Unfortunately we did not discover this till almost 3 weeks into our stay, as we were not normally awake at those times. After that we just shut everything off and turned it on manually for when we needed it. We did have a property manager come out to try and change the time setting also as, with the time change, the pool would come on earlier than required, but he was not familiar with the system and could not change it. The service that we received from the team was very good. When we phoned about a problem, it was dealt with quickly."

Got What We Paid For.   (3 of 5 Stars)

"It was very easy to check in and out of the house. The house was clean and well stocked with towels, linens, kitchen supplies. We rented this house because of the price, and were pleased that it was spacious and comfortable to use as a base camp for our weekend of fun. If you're looking for a house that you're going to spend a lot of time in with lots of amenities, this isn't the house for you. Take a look at your pool/spa heating instructions. I was able to get everything heated the way we wanted, but I was a Naval engineer. Future guests may not have the patience for the instructions as they are currently laid out. Also, I think the valve diagram is just wrong, and the picture of the heater control panel is from a different model. As for those valves, they aren't easy to turn. Everyone was helpful and pleasant to deal with. Thanks to all of you."

Great Place To Stay   (3 of 5 Stars)

"The property was great and well maintained. Everything was just as described on your website We were staying for the entire week and when we called to have it cleaned mid-stay, we were charged for the cleaning. I don't know how you would expect someone to stay in the property for days and not be given a cleaning without having to pay for it"

Charming, Spacious Hacienda   (5 of 5 Stars)

"The house was delicious--very open in the living areas, but private in the bedrooms and baths. Beautiful architecture and appointments. The stone walk approach to front door is a little wobbly for people who don't have very good balance. A smooth path from driveway to front door would be much better and easier to negotiate, especially at night."

Outdoor Living At Its Best   (4 of 5 Stars)

"This was our fifth annual trip to Palm Springs. It's the perfect retreat for five-six women from Seattle looking for a warm escape. This was the first year we used VPS and so our first year at this home. The main draw to the Good Vibrations home was the PRIVATE, tastefully landscaped and well equipped backyard: six lounge chairs, plenty of pool floats, the dining table and chairs under cover, the beautiful yard... We spent 90% of our time outside - laying by the pool, eating our meals at the table, playing games at the table in the evenings, soaking in the spa... The interior of the home was well decorated and clean - but we spent so little time inside. We are already booking the home for next year - 11 months away. We had no issues with reservations - very straightforward. My sister needed to call the prop manager when she had issues with the wifi. I don't recall who she talked to, but he was very helpful. The binder with all the detailed information as to which services are scheduled on which days of the week, how to turn on the spa, etc... was very helpful. The welcome basket was a nice touch = )"

Outdoor Paradise   (5 of 5 Stars)

"Our experience was wonderful. The outdoor spaces courtyard and backyard were amazing. The pool was by far one of the best. The mountain views were beautiful. We thought the airport being close would be a noise factor and it wasn't. I would suggest adding outdoor umbrellas by the lounge chairs Everything was great - no problems so there wasn't a need to call anyone."

Time Warp   (4 of 5 Stars)

"The condo had all the necessary amenities. However, there was a quite unpleasent smell on entry which lingered whenever the place wasn't aired. I was particulalrly happy with the grounds and facilities, all of which were very well maintained. The location was excellent. The condo decor could do with an update. Our recommendations: Better TV channel Package.Better fresh air ventilation. More modern decor/amemities. There was some confusion intially over the availabilty dates. (Nate) but this was subsequently remedied to the satisfaction of all concerned. On the rare ocassions I had to contact staff, they proved friendly, efficient and courteous. (Save for one ocassion when I emailed to report a small breakage I discovered but wasn't replied to) Scott."

Great Home Near Downtown Palm Springs   (5 of 5 Stars)

"The house was a great two bedroom, with luxury showers and a well-equipped kitchen. The pool is shared in the amongst the properties in the complex, but we had it to ourselves all the time we were there. The house is also in a great spot, walking distance from shops, restaurants and bars. Great communication and efficient service."
