You will also find the primary bedroom, an oasis in itself, with its sprawling living quarters, regal color palette, and luxurious en suite bathroom. It's a lovely house with lots of space for large groups (we were one extended family), but overall we found the stay to be less than satisfactory for a number of reasons:- there was no book that explained how things work in the house. I've rented dozens of homes in the desert and have never had this happen. We figured out how to do things and also reached out to the Vacasa contact, but that shouldn't be necessary. - the house simply wasn't equipped as one would expect for a home of this stature and price. Cookware was limited and what was there was low quality, wine glasses didn't match and were mainly plastic (for outdoor use), there was no bottle opener, only one cutting board, no baking sheets, no dishrack, etc.. Vacasa came and supplied some of these items but that should be done in advance. The fact that we were there for Thanksgiving exacerbated these issues - so not all people visiting would be as impacted as we were.- In general it felt like the house wasn't ready to be rented yet. In addition to the points above, there were boxes for the house equipment throughout the storage areas. - there is no outdoor cooking area. The outdoor areas are lovely, but I find it bizarre that there is no grill. While communicating with Vacasa leading up to the visit they stated that the house had a BBQ area - only to find out while en route that local insurance regulations precluded an outdoor grill (which we'd planned on using to help with thanksgiving food prep). Between the lack of grill and misinformation from Vacasa this was a major issue.- The local Vacasa reps were nice and helpful, but the centralized communication from HQ was confusing - as mentioned above. Moving forward I'll narrow my rental searches to local firms only.One other thing to note is that the house has a ton of mirrors (like every possible inch of wall space) and white gloss tile floors - which are cool from a design standpoint, but are actually a bit disorienting.

This property is great for large groups. It was clean and very spacious and had a great Mid Mod vibe. The check-in process with Vacasa management was cumbersome and unclear — received one message the day before check-in that you have to checkin in person and then another message the day-of that you could do it virtually but if you are travelling that day you have to chase them down which is difficult. Check-in person is not authorized to grant an early check-in so you have to wait for that verdict for several hours. Made coordinating group plans unnecessarily difficult. And our place was missing a coffee machine. They promised to deliver one the first night but they didn’t. Had to chase up in the morning, still no coffee pot. Had to chase up again in the afternoon. Just not how you want to spend your vacation.

This beautiful home is well appointed with lots of room for 10 people to spread out. Our only complaint is that we were notified 30 minutes prior to check in that the hot tub was not working. The owner was unwilling to heat the pool as an alternative. They want $400 per day to heat the pool, which is ridiculous.

The master bedroom was sick af! The bathroom was huge! And the entire house in general was amaze balls! We were in awe and we had never used Vacasa. They are kind of crappy with keeping notes in their system as I had to remind them that we didn’t get and email for our confirmation to check in like 3 times - however after the check in process and taking to three different reps we got to our rental at the Gala and it is a must!!!!! I love all the drug art and mirrors/large windows.
