The views from the back patio were good and the condo was clean. However, this rental is extremely lacking compared to other places we’ve stayed for a similar or cheaper price (we paid over $3600 for a week). We’ve stayed in this unit many times with the previous owners, but unfortunately will not be back and wouldn’t recommend it, at least for the price we paid. Appointments are VERY bare-bones: very cheap bed and bath linens, cheap scratchy toilet paper. Expect to buy EVERYTHING that typical rentals usually include- tissues, oil, spices, foil, etc. The only supplies included were coffee, tea, salt & pepper. All the furniture was IKEA-gradeThe kitchen sink leaks and would either spray all over you, or leak onto the counter top. We attempted to contact the owners with no response. Check-out is supposed to be at 10am, but we got pushed out by the cleaners well before 10. This was extremely stressful with 2 small kids and trying to finish packing for a flight home. Communications before our stay were contradictory and inconsistent: the listing says “heated pool” with no mention of a heating fee, but a week before our stay we received an email saying it was $75 per night to heat the pool. When I called to ask about this, the customer service rep was super rude and hung up on me. I later found out they have no control over the heat, so shouldn’t be requesting a $75 per night fee in the first place. We also got mixed messages about the check-in process. Some communications said we would have to FaceTime the day of check-in and show our ID and credit card. Some communications said we would have to check in at an offsite location near the condo. It was a really confusing process and not at all seamless like we’ve experienced with every other rental. Vacasa, the management company was rude, unresponsive, and difficult to work with. It took over a week for them to respond to a question I had right before our stay, I got hung up on when I called (it was obviously on purpose, plus they had my callback number and never reached out). You will have to download their app in addition to the Vrbo app. And there was extra red tape before renting, like emailing them my ID without any privacy disclosure about how my information would be stored, signing additional agreements via docusign, and calling their office to get the check in codes. I’ll never rent from a property managed by Vacasa again.

The up side: Very good location. Easy parking. The unit is newly refurbished and the unit had good kitchen amenities (new dishes, pots and pans). Nice bathroom with walk in shower. The barbecue is brand new and a joy to use. The appliances are new. The down side: The rental unit is always dark inside, especially the eating area, because of how it is located in the complex. No instructions on how to use the appliances, (the conduction stove was not easy to us, and there was a set of pots and pans that were not compatible with the stove). Three remotes (each one doing some different functions) to use the living room television. The patio had a table and chair but was not conducive to lounging. Finally, the master bedroom mattress is VERY firm.
