Shame on the Moon Restaurant originally opened in April 1984, in Cathedral City, California. After 11 Seasons in Cathedral City, we moved to Rancho Mirage in February of 1995. As “The Desert Season” begins in mid-October 2017, we begin our 34th season in the Coachella Valley. While many restaurants have come and gone in the past 33 years, we are very proud to say that our business is as strong as ever.
