For those who don't want to read a long review, I'll just sum up that this was my fourth home rental vacation in Palm Springs, and by far the best value. The home and furnishings are a little bit on the older side, but the important things (TV, kitchen appliances) are all very modern and worked well. Living Room: The smart TV was setup for Netflix and other streaming services, and had clear sharp pictures and good sound. Furniture was a little old and not the most comfortable, but we supplemented with pillows and was fine. A/C worked great. Large dining table for eating and games.Kitchen: All new appliances, worked wonderfully. Fancy coffee maker, grinder and coffee available. Plenty of nice indoor and outdoor dishes and glassware.Bedrooms: Kids rooms were cute and spacious. Master very spacious. Bed was quite comfortable. Plenty of outlets and surge protectors for charging. The room got a little warm at night but was fine if we turned down the thermostat.Outside: Deck furniture was old and not so comfortable, and only one umbrella was moveable. We opted to sit in chairs as they were more comfortable than the lounges. Pool was great, clean and well cared for. Grass for the dogs.Game room: Awesome pool table, fun TMNT video console. Overall wasn't the fanciest or most luxurious house, but given that the price was well below others, this was really a steal. We enjoyed the heck of our stay!

This property is priced considerably lower than most comparable homes in this neighborhood, but for good reasons. The house is older and only partially remodeled. The kitchen is small but nicely furnished and finished. There is not enough seating in the living room and the couch and chairs are not comfortable. Here is a list of the things we did not like about this property.
1. The AC cuts off automatically at 10 pm - what the hell? We were forced to use big fans to stay cool overnight.
2. The shower in the main bathroom is old with a cloth curtain that leaks all over the floor.
3. There were no hand towels or dish towels in the kitchen.
4. The pool is old and unattractive. The portable fence around it is a ugly distraction and prevents the use of pool by anyone who wants to sit on the side of the pool. Dumb! The pool was too cold to swim in this time of year because it gets so little sun and there is no pool heater - or at least none is listed. There we no cushions for the two hard wood pool lounge chairs! Who's going to lay out on hard wood with no cushions - inexcusable! Also no pool floaties for floating in the pool!
5. The floors throughout the house are slippery and noisy.
6. The sliding door to the backyard is noisy and doesn't slide smoothly
7. For a 10 day stay there was no coffee and only 2 filters!
8. No facial tissues in either bathroom or anywhere in the house
9 Most light switches don't work and you have to fumble around in the dark to find switches on the few lamps that exist
10. The AC controls are completely controlled by the management to keep switching back to 82 degrees - how frustrating.
11. Light in refrigerator burned out.
12. Only one roll of the cheapest, thinest paper towels in the kitchen - how cheap!
13.. The wifi name provided by Vacasa does not exist and we had to figure it out on our own. Please, update guest information and don't make it difficult for us!

I would not rent this home again and absolutely would not recommend to anyone. Big changes need to be made to greatly improve guest comfort and convenience. Overall, we were disappointed and feel the home listing is inaccurate. Glenn A

Hi, Glenn! We're so sorry to read you were unhappy and wish you had called in during your stay since most of your concerns could have been addressed quickly. We were unaware the air conditioner had a schedule and have since removed it. The hand and dish towels are kept in a drawer by the sink as well as in the linen closet. The homeowner has just added a pool heater, and we are working with the city to ensure we meet regulations that will allow us to remove the fence. Pool floats are located in the outdoor shed. All light switches and lights have been verified as working, and the homeowner is adding additional lighting and ceiling fans. The WiFi information is now updated. Thank you for making us aware of how we can improve. Hopefully we can host you again for a better experience.

Went with family of 4 in Sept 2021 for a long weekend. Kids are 2 and 4 years old.
We loved the house from when we first walked in. Very well-maintained and renovated. Cool AC. High quality finishes and cooking supplies (Vitamix, coffee maker, etc). Very clean. There was a pack n play and some baby/preschool books that our kids enjoyed.
The bonus room was also great, with TNMT arcade game and pool table. All TVs had access to netflix, prime, disney+. High end sound system.

It was a very typical Palm Springs mid-century modern house without feeling like we were going to break things. I agree with a previous reviewer that the house was very well-done without being too fussy. Views from the front butterfly windows are of the mountains. We didn't hear neighbors at all. It all seemed very private.

We loved the pool. It is the only property we've seen that has a gate, which we really wanted for our kids. There's a shallow end (4 ft?) with steps entering, but it gets deep fast. It was perfect for our 4 year old learning to swim.

The storage closet has a few blow up toys, bubbles, sidewalk chalk that kept the kids occupied.

There's a new-ish Weber grill right outside the kitchen, but we did not use it.

Our dog enjoyed the grass lawn. Turf gets so hot on dog paws, so we were happy there was even a small amount of real grass.

Location is great. Ralph's around the corner and a few minute drive to downtown. Parking downtown was no big deal.

We also really enjoyed the airplane museum by the airport and the zoo in Palm Desert.

We rent houses/condos on most of our trips to Palm Springs and elsewhere, but this might be the best all-around for the reasons above. It was exactly what we were hoping for. We'll almost definitely plan future trips to PS based on availability of this house.

I loved this home. It is stylish without being fussy. Everything we needed but didn't bring for cooking etc was there. Laid back but chic in a great neighborhood close to everything. Beds were comfortable and bathrooms had nice new shower curtain linings and were uber clean. Pool and pool furniture perfect and well maintained. I loved the avocado kitchen BTW. Whomever decorated deserves praise for getting it right and not overdoing things to the point of being ridiculous, as so many homes in Palm springs are.
