My family and I stayed at casa cinco for 6 days during a dance national convention for our oldest daughter. We chose to stay here to avoid having to lug our other 4 kids from a hotel room to the pool. The pool is small but perfect for our kids ages 4-17. Unfortunately, the pool was full of algae and debris on Monday during check in but I didn’t report it as the email indicated cleaning occurs on Tuesday and Friday. However, the afternoon of Tuesday no one came so I opened a ticket with the local service team. Fair warning do not call Vacasa main number as they are just a dispatch and end up sending you to the local service team anyways. I was given the run around until Thursday when I spoke to Ashley who dispatched a different pool company to my rescue. Meantime my 4 kids were bound to the home with only 1 TV. Thank goodness the home was large enough for the kids to go into their own spaces and the AC worked. This was not the ideal vacation my husband and I wanted for our kids. At 1pm Thursday the pool was finally attended too and it was disgusting. Due to the chemicals the cleaners had to use we were unable to use the pool until after 5pm so we went to the local community water park to cool down. It appears as if it had not had a full service clean in quite some time. During our stay there were also maintenance service tickets being attended too so we were flexible with others coming into the home to remove an extra fridge and replace a part in the dishwasher. This didn’t bother us and it was reassuring that items were cared for but it was frustrating that the reason for us wanting to even be at casa cinco wasn’t being attended too. Also it’s unclear who is responsible for maintaining the home as the local service team would indicate the owner is sending a pool vendor but after 24 hours of that vendor not coming Vacasa sent another pool vendor they recommended. What I didn’t understand was the fact that in the opening email with Vacasa there was a link to a misquote virus and the link referenced an unkept pool was a city violation. Why they would inform me of the virus but not make the unkept pool a priority to service is alarming. In the end we were unable to use the pool or jacuzzi for 3 out of our 6 days. We were finally able to enjoy our stay the last two full days while the kids played in the pool.

The good:The house was very clean with a big kitchen.The not so good:The pool is very small, maybe 10 x 10. The jacuzzi was unusable because it was so dirty. The fridge was warm for the entire weekend- clearly a consistent problem because there’s a note on the side telling you not to complain about it. Ice maker didn’t work. In general the furnishings and appliances are old.Overall:We had a nice time. Would have been better if we had ice and could use the jacuzzi.

The shower in the master bedroom would not turn off and ran the entire time we were there, it flooded the bathroom floor and the dripping kept us up at night. The front door handle is broken, the bikes have flat tires, the electrical outlets don’t work in the kitchen, the paint on the outside is chipping off and the pool area is a mess. Half way during our stay someone came and drained the pool. We ended up leaving a day early (on my birthday) because we just wanted to go home. I wish I could post pictures, it was truly unbelievable, felt like we were staying at someone old house. So much for spring break with our family. We own to rental homes also and this truly was unacceptable. False advertising on the website and the picture is clearly filtered

Loved the house, very spacious and clean. The pool was too small though and was full of algae when we got there. The pool man showed up after we had been sweeping for over an hour.
The jacuzzi was dirty and smelled foul.

Loved the quiet neighborhood. Great for relaxing. Spent 3 days and 3 nights in this clean spacious home with my husband and 2 children. Loved that it was equipped with towels, toilet paper, laundry soap, extra blankets, pots/pans, dishes. Made for less packing for me. Also Loved the organization, layout of amenities. Loved the pool even though it was small. It’s right next to the kitchen making very helpful when it came time to eating and snacking. The spa/jacuzzi in the back next to the master bedroom and living room was also easy access. Parking space and garage perfect! Stores and eating places about 10 minutes away driving distance. Loved the AC. The house cooled quickly. Also loved the ceiling fans in the bedrooms. I appreciate that the switches were labeled for easy use. Lots to love in this house. This was our mini vacation. We stayed in the house all 3 days and enjoyed ourselves. We didn’t want to leave.

Very spacious and free of clutter had almost everything needed. That said, The master shower handle was broken and impossible to regulate temperature. The grill outside is not what is considered a grill suitable for a “vacation house”. It’s mini portable camping grill with disposable propane tanks. It has never been cleaned and the grease caught fire. It also doesn’t start with the built-in igniter. Floors need a good steam cleaning. Overall though the place had everything needed for time away from home.

It was an excellent house. Private pool. Very quaint and family friendly. My wife and 3 girls loved it. We watched movies went in the pool ate and did it again. The Vacasa property manager Parrish was the best. He made sure we had everything we needed. He helped us transition from another rental which we had issues with to this one. And he did it pretty seamlessly. Thanks Parrish.
