Built in 2000, this vacation rental features an open floor plan with high ceilings, a newly remodeled kitchen with stainless steel appliances, a bright and inviting living area with a stacked stone gas fireplace, and a dining table with seating for guests - ideal for meals or family game nights! Relax in front of the 65" TV with surround sound. Out back, this home has a private pool area and patio where you can take your morning coffee as the sun rises over the mountains, or enjoy alfresco dining in the evenings.

Centrally located in La Quinta, this home is close to a wide array of popular Coachella Valley activities. From shopping and dining in nearby Old Town La Quinta to local golf courses and scenic desert drives, there's something here for everyone. You're also just a short walk from numerous trailheads and scenic hikes at the Fred Wolff Nature Preserve.

THINGS TO KNOW

Outdoor music is prohibited. Music that is played indoors must not be heard outdoors. City ordinance states that any music that is audible from the property line is a violation. People's noise during the day is permissible but must be measured and reasonable. Daytime is considered 10 a.m. to 10 p.m.
For stays 29 nights or longer, additional discounts may be available. Please contact Vacasa for more information.
The utility deposit is $1,500 for 28 nights with $375 added for each additional week the guest stays. This fee covers access to the pool and spa.

The overall house looks nice at first glance, but it's a different story once you spend time in there. The floors were so dirty that we couldn't take our shoes off (had to be vacuumed). The carpet underneath the coffee table was also dirty, so we had to vacuum that too. Two of the hand towels had dried nasal mucus on it. The kitchen countertops were filthy. We literally spent first 2 hours just cleaning the house so that we can enjoy the weekend. Dining room table had a broken chair. Outside pool chair broken as well. We were told that the pool cleaner would come by first thing Friday morning to clean the pool because of high winds which resulted in dust, human and dog hair to fall in, yet no one came. We spent way too much time cleaning the pool as well. We asked to have the pool/"hot"tub heated which was supposed to cost us $150 per my conversation with their customer service rep. They ended up charging us almost $190. All in all, we will not be returning and would definitely not recommend this property to anyone else. Now it makes sense why this house cost us $400/night vs neighboring houses which run around $800/night. You get what you pay for.

Word of advice to the property management company.. Make sure your property is cleaned and properly sanitized when renting out your property during this Covid-19 pandemic, because for us that was not the case.

My cousin and I loved everything about our stay. The house was spacious, clean, and very well appointed with everything we could possibly want for our vacation. The pool and hot tub were perfect to relax by and the neighborhood was perfectly quiet. At the same time, it was a very quick drive to get to the activity. Also, we loved how close we were to the Nature Preserve hiking trail. We hope to stay again!

We thoroughly enjoyed our weekend stay at Casa Rubio!!! Everything was in working order and clean, just as shown on the Vacation Palm Springs website. The pool was fantastic for the hot days, and the location was great! We were within 10-15 minutes of the Empire Polo Fields which made for easy access to the Stagecoach Country Music Festival.

The house was large and wonderful! Everything was clean and in order. Including the pool, hot tub, outdoor furniture, and the BBQ grill. The kitchen was stocked for everything we needed to cook up meals for 8 people. They even left a garage opener so we were able to keep that in our Van, and drive right into the garage each time too which came in very handy. The bedrooms and bathrooms were clean and very nice. The neighborhood was quiet and quaint. Major shopping areas including grocery stores were only a few miles away. We were there for the Coachella weekend, and it was only like a 10 min drive there. (traffic is another story). Everything was great! Everyone who i talked to were very helpful. VPS is ran very well!
