You'll have 1,200 square feet of open living space, a remodeled, full kitchen with granite countertops and stainless steel appliances, and a front patio with ample room for grilling and dining in the sunshine. When you're not golfing, hiking, or shopping downtown, you can cool off in the community swimming pool or practice your backhand on the shared tennis courts.

This condo is located on the south side of Palm Desert, with the mountains (and a number of beautiful hiking trails) beginning just a few blocks west. El Paseo - the renowned stretch of downtown Palm Desert that's famous for its boutiques, restaurants, and art galleries - is just over a mile north, while the Living Desert Zoo and Gardens awaits two miles east. If you're a golfer, you'll have countless courses to choose from in the area, including several that are open to the public.

THINGS TO KNOW
  • This home must be booked 2 weeks in advance. A DocuSign and registration fees are to be paid 2 weeks before arrival. The registration fee is $100.
  • The utility deposit is $500 for 28 nights with $125 added for each additional week.
  • Amenity fees paid at the time of booking cover access for two (2) guests. Additional guest access is subject to additional fees. Please contact Vacasa for details.
  • Outdoor music is prohibited. Music that is played indoors must not be heard outdoors. City ordinance states that any music that is audible from the property line is a violation. People noise during the day is permissible but must be measured and reasonable. Daytime is considered 10:00 am to 10:00 pm.
  • This home only allows minimum night stays of 29 nights or longer. This is enforced by the County and we cannot make any exceptions.

Deep Canyon Tennis Club was a very friendly resort with great tennis and pickleball courts and swimming pools. Fruit trees were in abundance and we were welcome to enjoy them!

We stayed here for a month in March/April 2023. The positives are: 1) We loved the location. You are a short drive to all the shops and restaurants in Palm Desert and there are a lot of hiking trails close by also. 2) Everyone is very friendly. From the neighbors (who we never heard) to the security to the HOA staff, everyone was always approachable and friendly. 3) We loved the balcony. We spent a lot of time on the balcony and thoroughly enjoyed the mountain views and the shade through much of the day provided by the big trees. 4) The area is very quiet. It was almost like we were outside the city. There was never any trouble finding space at any of the pools. 5) The beds were very comfortable.The negatives: The main issue is that the condo is showing its age. It looks like, other than the kitchen, the owner is putting the bare minimum into the place. Examples are a very poor paint job, horrible unmatched, very squeaky, uneven flooring throughout, old uncomfortable furniture - 1 kitchen stool the seat was not attached, another the back is coming apart, the spings in both the sofa and loveseat have worn and have been replaced by plywood sheets making them very uncomfortable, cracking ceilings, etc... The place is also very dark and could use some much better lighting throughout. Basically, the place could use a lot of TLC and wasn't the most comfortable to spend time in.Overall we had a great trip though. The location made it easy to overlook a lot of the downfalls of the interior of the condo. Especially since we spent most of our time out and about. But the owner should invest a bit in fixing the place up.
