Nicely furnished, modern house which matches the pictures. Minor area of improvement could be the living room TV is significantly too small for the intended viewing distance and has bad speakers. Generally quiet neighbourhood. Limited privacy in the yard/pool area due to some gaps in the fence.While the house itself was great, everything around rental management wasn't - the maintenance staff was entering the property unannounced, which was quite surprising to suddenly have some stranger walking around the property, which is unacceptable. The house was also not ready to enter when we arrived as the cleaning from the previous renters was still ongoing, we then had to kill another two hours until they were actually finished. When pointing out these issues, I did not get any response from Vacasa which just ignored my emails.

Not sure where exactly to start. Going into the property, it seemed to be a good find. But, it’s not. 1. Customer service is non existent. We tried to call multiple times to get the pool heated. After 10 calls, a ton of texts and finally a vrbo call, they turned on the pool…on the 3rd day do 5 day stay. 2. This property nickels and dimes us. Late check out, heating the pool per day, cleaning etc. so the fees stack up for no service.3.the heating. The place’s heating was locked. Somehow the temp couldn’t be turned off. Even after someone came to the house, the temp was locked at 69 during the day and 72 at night. Each night we’d wake up in sweats. 3. The bbq’s ignition doesn’t work. We tried with multiple batteries with nada results. We lit the bbq and I singed my hair. It was awful.4. The kitchen is well stocked but everything is cheap. The cabinets (which multiple times) went off the tracks, the sink doesn’t have a garbage disposal, the dishwasher doesn’t wash that well without cleaning the dishes5. There is no instruction manual for anything and there is no person to contact. If you call the main Palm Springs number they don’t call you back. 6. The living room tv is not a smart tv. You cannot access Netflix or any of your subscriptions. Bottom line for the money that we paid there are better houses to actually rent. Don’t rent at this property or this management company. Run far away if you see a property managed by Vacasa.

Raymond, we are sorry to hear you had a disappointing stay at our home. Kindly note that, as mentioned in our listing description, pool heat must be requested and paid for at least 1 day before the reservation as the heat has to be turned on and it takes several hours to reach the desired temperature. As this was requested during your stay, it took longer for the pool to heat but it was working as needed. We aim to make the price of our rentals as completely transparent as possible and provide a breakdown of each cost you pay towards the rental before, and throughout the booking process, including all fees and taxes. Kindly note that the owner has a lock on the thermostat due to previous guest's negligence on thermostat usage, causing the owner to have to replace the whole unit. During your stay, our team reached out to the owner to unlock it and change the temperature so that it wasn’t so hot at night. The barbecue lights with the candlestick lighter which is provided on the barbecue for the guest. We will speak with the owner about getting a new igniter. Maintenance will address the concerns with the kitchen cabinets and dishwasher. The TV in the living room is not a Smart TV but it has cable available for guest use. We are committed to providing exceptional customer service and will follow up with the appropriate parties to ensure our service standards are fully met. We hope you'll give us a second chance to better serve you!

This house is so inviting and just immediately makes you feel on vacation. The pool is beautiful and warm and clean, the house is incredibly comfortable and could easily accommodate 6 guests, and you are within just minutes to anything g Palm Springs has to offer.

We had the opportunity to do stay at Freestone Modern and the home exceeded all our expectations. The home was extremely clean and well taken care of! The only feedback we have is the outside property lights never did come on and would have been nice to have the backyard lit for dinner. The book stated they would come on automatically, but never did... Overall, we will be back and look forward to staying in this home again!
