Visit the La Quinta Museum to learn some local history or head over to the Living Desert Zoo and Gardens for a day of family fun, just 11 miles away. If your visit coincides with the Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival or the Stagecoach Festival, this rental is only six miles from the Empire Polo Grounds.

The highlights of this home are the patio/pool area and the large main living space. If booking, keep in mind you cannot play music outdoors and you need to keep your voices down. Rental properties in this area are not popular with the neighbors.

There is a garage you can park in but the driveway is very narrow so it is difficult to use with larger vehicles.

Good to know, Vacasa is strict with check -in times and you will not receive the information to check in until a few minutes before the time. Also, the pool is serviced on Tuesday and Thursday and you will have to wait 2 hours to use the pool after chemicals are put in.

We did enjoy our day and a half at this home.

First off, Tom with the management company gave us the wrong code to get into the place and when we called to get the right one, the girl sent the same one so it took us about an hour after we arrived to finally get the right code! This place is in need some updating for the price you pay! The toilets were loose from the walls, two of the showers had poor shower heads, when we moved any furniture so we could play games or visit there was dirt underneath everything! Sam the maintenance man was quick to respond but we spent so much time calling about problems that we lost time being able to enjoy our vacation! We were very disappointed in the location - the description made it sound like it was convenient to walk everywhere but we didn’t find it to be that way.

We loved the view from this rental along with the walking path right across the street. The street that it is on is also a relatively quiet street which is also a big plus. We also are a big fan of having your indoor space spill out to your outdoor space creating this wonderful total living area. The pool and spa made it one complete package.

This property was a nice getaway for 3 couples. The beds were comfy and every room having their own bathroom was convenient. The kitchen was large and open to commune / cook. Most of the time was spent poolside and with the built in grill. We had an issue with the pool being ready when we arrived and VACASA was very helpful, attentive and professional. We even received a welcome call the day after arriving to check in on our stay. High marks for their management services. The reason for the 4 stars is for 2 reasons 1)everyone in our party reacted terribly to the salt water pool. Our skin, was ashy, rashy and itched for days after our visit. It was unpleasant. 2) the host book for visitors was a little condescending and rude. Maybe they have had difficult visits in the past but their lack of “accommodating” descriptions of the amenities and property limitations was a distasteful. Example “each room has smart TVs but we don’t have streaming services. We assume if you do, you know how to sign into your own account”. 1 roll of TP was left for each bathroom. If we used more than the accommodation we needed to purchase our own. Which was stated in the book. It was an odd and a little off putting. La Quinta was a charming little town and we will visit the area again.

This was an awesome place to stay! The layout was magnificent along with the pool spa and Mountain View’s. If the owner was interested in selling we would be interested in buying this property. Vacasa made it very easy for us to check in and out as well! Thumbs up!

We had an awesome stay and would definitely stay here again! The homes layout was perfect for 2 families with a large master in the front and 2 beds/2 baths in the back of the home. The home was very clean and equipped with everything we needed. The only thing I would change in the charge for heating the jacuzzi. My mind was blown knowing you have to pay $90 per day for 3 days so $270 just to have a hot jacuzzi in the evenings. I understand it is expensive to operate but there has to be a better option than that by having it on a timer or something so people don’t take advantage of it. Other than that, highly recommend!

The house was very spacious and the view of the Santa Rosa mountains were amazing. Very clean and well maintained. The only thing I could think of was besides the master the other bedrooms did not have TVs. Great! Great! Great! 4.7 Stars
