Welcome to Hi View House, a quiet desert escape in the beautiful Highlands area of Joshua Tree, sitting on five acres next to national park mountains. This stylish, comfortable house features a breathtaking panorama overlooking the West Entrance of Joshua Tree National Park and is a haven for wildlife. Yet with all that seclusion, guests will still enjoy a convenient location, just a little over three miles from either the West Entrance or the village of Joshua Tree. The shops, restaurants, grocery stores, and amenities of Yucca Valley are less than 10 miles west, and Twentynine Palms is around 18 miles east.

At home, sip your coffee with a spectacular sunrise from your backyard or screened patio and step inside to make some breakfast when you get hungry. The open concept combines the comfortable living area, dining room, and kitchen, making it ideal for gathering together. The spacious, full kitchen features stainless steel appliances, warm butcher-block countertops, and all the cabinets and space you need to whip up a feast. Grab a bite together at the table inside, or dine alfresco on the patio. Spend the day exploring the ethereal landscapes of Joshua Tree National Park, then return home to relax for the evening. Stream the latest release or use the free, high-speed WiFi to catch up on remote work at the dedicated workstation. End the day as you began, back outside on the patio, but this time admiring the clear night sky and toasting your good fortune at booking the perfect desert escape.

A comfy home with loads of stuff for a rental for cooking, yoga, tv watching (some Amazon streaming included), and not too far from the west side entrance to the park. Loved being outside under the stars and got a great nights sleep in the beds. Wifi wasn’t 100% the whole time we were there and the house was a little chilly. Other than that it was perfect!

Great central property in Joshua Tree Highlands. Beautiful views and close to the West entrance of Joshua Tree National Park. Worth it for this alone. House definitely needed some TLC but overall not a bad place to stay.

We very much enjoyed this home and it's part in our Joshua Tree experience.Our bed was super comfy, nice large kitchen, bedrooms, and living room. Everything was very clean.As other reviewers have stated, the road is rugged but driveable (we have an SUV). A couple of reviewers stated that there was a loud noise from the rooftop during windy nights. We did NOT experience this, so that must have been fixed. It was very quiet.We were happy to find that the home offers an electric plug-in for our EV. Note that it is not a charging station, so you need to use your EV plug in cord. It fully charged over night.
