Find sunshine, ease, and beautiful views of the mountains at this classic California bungalow in Palm Springs, where you'll enjoy peace, relaxation, and a short walk or bike ride to the heart of downtown. Here in the tranquil neighborhood of Ruth Hardy Park, you'll be treated to beautiful outdoor spaces made private and peaceful by tall hedges, mature landscaping, and a private swimming pool with an attached spa. Spend your days reading in the swings on the covered porch, barbecuing on the built-in gas grill, dining in the shade of the umbrella, and watching the sunset over the mountains as you gather around the firepit. At night, the two bedrooms are on opposite ends of the house, each paired with its own bathroom, TV, and DVD player.

This home is located in the wonderfully walkable Ruth Hardy Park neighborhood of central Palm Springs, well away from any busy streets and only two blocks from the park itself, where you'll find tennis courts and playgrounds. Palm Canyon Drive - the main strip of downtown Palm Springs known for its excellent dining, shopping, and nightlife - is less than a mile west, and the famous Palm Springs Aerial Tramway is only five miles beyond. There are also more than 125 golf courses awaiting in the Palm Springs region, so be sure to bring your clubs!

As above, met our expectations and enabled us to have a great time whilst out in Palm Springs, despite only being a couple of days. The property is evidently well tended to, the amenities were in good working order and the furniture was all very comfortable. I particularly liked the living room aesthetic. The only comment to be made I feel was that we found the dishwasher to be slightly ineffective, but it only means a little more hand washing. Would very much look forward to the prospect of a further visit in the future.

Due to a car accident en route, we arrived 3 days late and because of an airline flight left 1 day early. However, our shorter than hoped for stay was fabulous!

We loved our stay at Kiwi cottage. The house has all the Palm Springs vibes and a lovely pool area. Location was convenient (we might have walked more if it were not the middle of a summer heatwave so we were glad we rented a car). The only reason I didn't rate it 5 stars is because the dishwasher didn't work and when we contacted Vacasa by text they said someone would be in touch. We never heard back and tried to call instead but were left on a long hold, which redirected us back to the text service that hadn't helped in the first place.

Great location in proximity to airport, downtown, and grocery shopping. We loved spending our days lounging by the pool. The check in process with Vacasa / the local management company was a bit convoluted and could definitely be more clearly stated in the property description. Thankfully it was worth it because Kiwi Cottage is a little gem.

This was our second trip this summer to kiwi cottage and we will be back… The location is great. Quiet neighborhood and close to the stores and downtown! We took evening walk to Ruth Hardy Park which is not far and enjoyed the pool both day and night. Very private yard and super comfy interior spaces. Kitchen is well stocked as well. That’s always nice because we ate in most nights. Only left for one breakfast, one dinner, and one lunch out. Very relaxing stay❤️

To say we loved our 1 week stay at Kiwi Cottage would be an understatement. The house was perfect for my husband and I. The midcentury modern furnishings were perfect for the home and very comfortable. The bed was very comfortable as well. The kitchen was terrific as we cooked a number of meals during our stay. The front yard is beyond magnificent. The pool and spa were a perfect end to our day. The view of the mountains was spectacular. We loved the privacy in the neighborhood with the fences and high bushes. While we did not use the back yard as much, the landscape was lovely and it was nice to have a table to eat outside. It is a terrific area to walk in. Close to everything we did. We will definately plan a repeat visit.

Overall our experience with Kiwi Cottage was good. However, the condition of the property and cleanliness were average at best. The toilet never stopped running even though a maintenance person temporarily fixed it. I read that this happened in another review and assumed they would have made a permanent fix.

Absolutely loved our 5 weeks at Kiwi Cottage! We were working remotely(we’re from Michigan), and it was wonderful to wind down after work with a long walk in the sunshine, then a soak in the spa. Floating in the heated pool was another favorite pastime!

Wonderful hideaway to relax in the sun. Great location, close to shops, restaurants and activities . The beds are very comfortable, the ambience relaxing, the highlight was the pool! Must go to for brunch and dinner is the Farm!

Flew in from the Windy City to unthaw and refresh, what a perfect house. Yard was perfect, the pool is spacious and the fire pit is a bonus on the cool nights.The living room couch is perfect for lounging, with Mountain View’s. The bedrooms have huge closets and comfortable beds. What a great neighborhood. Walked to the park each morning and got coffee. The Tram is a must!
