Check in was tedious/inconvenient. Suddenly upon arrival at the airport I find out I have to do a check-in and sign a e-document and send a photo id pic before I can get the code to the house. WiFi wasn’t working at the airport so it was a lot of back and forth. Not a great way to start out. The heat went out and I called the next morning when I realized it and the communication was bad. The HVAC person couldn’t come until the following day so it was basically two mornings and two nights being cold. Again, not relaxing for a vacation home I spent over $2,000 on…and no “sorry this happened” or any “here’s $50 off for your trouble” or whatever. The kitchen rug was really dirty and just made me wonder what else was dirty that I couldn’t see. You have to do better if you want to compete for return customers or referrals.

My Vacasa stay was very relaxing. The unit was a very roomy two bedroom apartment with a nice balcony facing the western setting afternoon sun. It was a quick walk to the pool with comfy lounges. It was furnished with a TV, computer access and plenty of kitchenware. It was surrounded by flat roadways for easy walking to the grocery store or exercise. A good stay.

The casita location was very quiet and that was just what we wanted once we cleaned it to our satisfaction. The cleaning crew could have done a better job to prepare the place. Some examples: the coffee pot was dirty, there were dark hairs on the sheets, the water filter in the refrigerator needed to be replaced, etc. Because of this, we decided to wash all the bedding and wash the glasses and dishes in order to be sure things were clean. The remote clicker to open the gate to get into the gated community did not work, but we did have the code so we were able to get in. Written instructions on how to lock/unlock the front door, how to use the tv remote control, etc. would be lovely but we figured everything out. With better cleaning, this place would definitely be a five star location.

This second story condo is in a great location and has everything you need. Kitchen included pot and pans, and complete dinnerware. Living room and balcony were great for kicking back. Grounds were well maintained with pool and hot tub.

We were here for 17 days in October and it worked well for our needs. Furnishings, bedding and kitchenwares are simple but worked for us, and were in line with our expectations as one of the lowest cost units we could find. I rated this experience a 5 star based on those expectations met. All of the windows and doors do need servicing. They were all difficult to open and close, had loose screws on the handles and some screws were missing. I would say that was the only thing needing attention.We quickly fell in love with the neighbor and her dog, and daily walks became a thing! :-)
