That's right, neighborhood folklore suggests that the ruins were part of a never-completed project to build a casino on an adjacent lot in the 1920s, but now you can dine or socialize within the ancient walls that have been expertly integrated into the landscape.

This was a beautiful property, inside and out. Saw several bighorn sheep on the hillside behind the house. We have stayed in a lot of vacation rentals over the years and this one was by far our favorite!

We really love this home. Perched at the top of a hill, there are breathtaking views of the valley from large floor to ceiling windows. The front facing terrace is a fabulous place to relax and enjoy the fresh air, views and sun. The house is well appointed and comfortable. We love the historic neighborhood as it allows for fantastic walks and architectural sightseeing.
I might give the property 4.5 stars if I could, simply because parts of the house are beginning to show their wear. For instance, the bed in the master bedroom could use replacing and the kitchen cabinets look like they need refinishing.
The rental price for this property is high so I am not sure we would splurge on it regularly, but we will be thrilled to return some day.
