ABOUT THE HOUSE

This was one of the best rental we`ve experienced in 20 years. We have no complaint of any substance. The property was thoroughly stocked more than one would expect. The owners were gracious and generous in anticipating our needs. Regrettably, landscapers early morning start interrupted late morning sleep ins but the salt water pool and jacuzzi hot tub more than compensated for it! A well kept beautiful little architectural gem. We had 6 people there at one point in our stay and we all felt we had lots of space. The kitchen worked well and was very well equipped. The beds were all very comfortable with tons of closet and dresser storage. Bathrooms modern and functioned well. Outdoor space especially spacious and lovely. AC worked well. Pool and spa very clean. Had to contact agency a few times throughout the month we were there to get pool/spa heating function rebooted. A bit frustrating but always quick response from Turnkey.

We would easily stay there again. The location worked for us. We like to walk so usually walked to downtown restaurants, groceries, gym, local Italian deli and more. About 6000 steps one way to downtown.

The vacation rental management staff was very helpful. Responded promptly to any issues.

Beautiful Wintertime Desert Escape

This property had pretty much everything we needed for our wintertime desert escape. Recently renovated, it`s on a quite street in the appealing Sunrise Park neighborhood. The back yard is especially well done with areas for sunbathing, yoga on the soft artificial turf, swimming, and cocktails around the firepit. Twice our pool heat went out--but when we called the pool guy showed up almost instantly and fixed it. A couple of quibbles: 1) it would be nice if they`d repair or replace the fridge icemaker, to be expected for a property at this price point; 2) there were a total of 3 wineglasses in the house, so we bought a set at World Market and left them for future tenants to use. We had a great week at this home. LOVE the white and blue, the home was beautifully updated but kept the awesome MCM style and feel. The saltwater pool literally steps out the back door. Pool and hot tub lights and hammock were a calming highlight after dark! House was plenty spacious for our family of 5, with 3 adult daughters able to spread out and relax. We decided spend a week someplace other than our own home since the pandemic hit. Palm Springs was the call after we ditched our Maui plans.

Found this gem and was very satisfied with the location, amenities and host. This house is a smart home, which can be helpful and annoying . Had to ask Alexa to turn off lights, too many commands to remember at times. Pool was great for the kids besides the waterfall having some calcium build up on the drop it was a nice pool.

Bedrooms and living room was perfect to accommodate 6-8 people. We are a family of six and had more than enough space. Kitchen had everything you needed to cook or bake.

We really enjoyed our stay. The home was clean, comfortable and kept cool indoors. The neighborhood was filled with other cool, mid-century architectural delights which made staying close by easy. Plenty of linens were provided (including 2 or 3 beach/pool towels per room) and the kitchen was well-stocked with the basics (although I’d bring your own hand soap if you’re traveling during Covid-19 times). We were out of propane upon arrival, but a couple texts and someone arrived to change out the tanks. The person did come into the home (would have made more sense to come through the side gate), but he was wearing a mask. There’s also a door directly off the patio leading directly to a bathroom which we found very convenient. Tons of thoughtful touches around the home – e.g. USB ports on the backs of the bedside tables.

We would definitely stay at this property again, although there are some things I wish I had known before our stay. The pool is cleaned twice a week (Tuesday, Friday for us) and the landscapers come once a week (Thursday for us). The windows are big (any time before 2 pm) and not reliable (e.g., came after 3 pm both times). Thus, out of our 5 days, we had visitors 3 of them. However, it wasn’t a terrible inconvenience – we just hopped out of the pool for about 10 to 15 minutes and luckily were already up when the landscapers arrived. You will also not be able to play any music outside and they’re very serious about this – it’s confirmed through text messages, emails and your welcome call. The house itself is also oddly very noisy at night – a lot of rattles, pops, and creaks. It could be a bit unnerving, but we were able to drown them out with the Amazon Echos or TVs. The pool’s floors and sides are a bit rough and we’d bring pool shoes if we stayed again. Very Disappointed in Cleaning Standards

I left a very detailed review of the cleanliness of the property via AirBnb review. We were extremely disappointed in the cleanliness of this home upon arrival. Toilet paper was more than half used in both bathrooms, dishes and other kitchen utensils were absolutely disgusting, the outside furniture I don’t think had ever been wiped down before. Overall, very disheartening during a time like this when we were expecting an above and beyond the norm clean before our arrival. Instead, we had to spend our first 4 hours on the property cleaning ourselves. We did receive a call from a local management rep who was very nice and offered to send out a crew, which we declined since we had already cleaned ourselves. However, after that phone call we proceeded to find several more issues with cleanliness throughout the duration of our stay. The most upsetting was the pool guy who came on Friday. We were told that pool maintenance would arrive before 2pm to conduct pool cleaning on Friday. We waited all day on Friday for him to come and he never showed. Finally at about 2:30pm we got ourselves and the kids in the pool and then at 3pm the pool guy shows up. If you have children, you know how difficult it was to get them out of the pool after making them wait all day and then get everyone inside after we had just gotten our day started after waiting for this man ALL MORNING AND EARLY AFTERNOON. I couldn’t believe he showed up a full hour late. What was even WORSE is that we were told when he came he would remain masked the entire time and he did NOT wear his mask while he was there, not ONCE. And he had one around his neck, he just chose not to use it. We all went inside to adhere to social distancing but it was very frustrating that he couldn’t even be bothered to use the mask while were all outside together trying to gather the kids and get inside. The house was great, in a good location and a nice property overall. Be advised that it is a 30 minute walk to the main shopping street; a lovely walk but a bit far to do all the time if you have young kids with you. The backyard was terrific, with the pool and hot tub and the house was well laid out. The third bedroom was a bit of an issue as it was freezing in there all the time and we had a child in the room. Turnkey sent someone to look at this but they couldn`t do anything to fix it; a house issue. We had to keep the heat on way to high at night to satisfy that bedroom, which made the rest of the house too hot.
We also had some issues with the pool/hot tub. We would set the temperatures at night for the heat to come on early in the morning so we could swim, and then it would re-set to the default overnight again, making the pool cold in the mornings. It would then take until the afternoon to heat up again. Finally Mike came and showed us how to fix this, but it still wanted to revert back to the other settings each day. The internet is TERRIBLE in this house. It`s almost impossible to watch anything on TV as the picture quality and broadband aren`t up to the right quality. Even the Turnkey repairman said that the owner needs to upgrade the internet service. It was very very frustrating to not be able to watch and TV at night.
Mike from Turnkey`s local office came out to the house 3 times to try to help us with internet, pool heat and bedroom heat and he was amazing. He really tried to help us out, but most of the things were beyond his control.
Turnkey wasn`t the most helpful from the beginning. They text you lovely texts saying that they are there to help in any way possible, but as soon as you need anything, they aren`t so helpful. We were trying to make our check in day as easy as possible with a baby, and they wouldn`t budge to help us with this, in any way at all. Beautiful mid-century home. Well-appointed; it has everything you could possibly need. Tastefully decorated, comfortable and very clean. We spent a week over Christmas here and took full advantage of the fireplace; heated pool and hot tub. Lovely home. You do have to drive everywhere. You can get a glimpse of the mountains from the back yard. The pool and hot tub were exceptional.

The property was as described, clean, centrally located, manager called soon after we arrived to see if we had any issues or questions. We mostly just enjoyed the pool and outdoor living. The pool became shaded around 3-4pm which was nice because in September it is still hot in the desert during the day. We had an awesome time, we were a family of four with a 7 year old and 4 year old and this place was perfect. The pool was great, we stay in it all day and then went inside in the evening and the house was great too. Had a little trouble with the AC on the first day but called and TurnKey had someone come right out and fix it. We enjoyed our stay at this property. It is well stocked with everything you could need. The home was clean and the beds were comfortable. The location was close to downtown Palm Springs (although a little outside of walking distance) and close to the airport (no airplane noise). We liked the connectivity of the home with Amazon Alexa throughout. Our only concern during our stay was that the pool and hot tub were not very clean. I did mention it to the representative who called when we entered the property but she did to call the 1-800 number with any concerns and given that we were only staying a few days I didn’t bother calling as I didn’t think it would be addressed in time anyway. Overall we were very pleased with the home and with our first experience with Turnkey Rentals.

We had to sign on penalty of $ 500, that we make no noise. Unfortunately, it was so that on 4 days we were awakened in the morning at 07.30 clock by the gardeners with the leaf blowers. Despite a complaint to the administration, no measures were taken. As a first time visitor to Palm Springs I have to say that I think we nailed it when we booked this house for our girls trip. It was clean, comfortable, and in an easy to access location close to the airport and just a short drive to downtown. The neighborhood has a lot of similar architecture which makes for interesting morning walks. But the best part is the backyard. The pool and hot tub warm up quickly, there were chairs set up around the fire pit which aren`t shown in the pictures, and there is plenty of additional seating. We spent most of our time while at the house out by the pool. If I had to be picky I would say with 5 girls in our group we pretty much maxed out the bathroom space. But I would definitely highly recommend this house and rebook in a heartbeat.This review was submitted while the home was managed by a different property management company.

The house was in a great neighborhood. We had a group of six and the 3 bedrooms worked out well. The house is intimate & the back yard is very large. Great for playing games & hanging out.This review was submitted while the home was managed by a different property management company.

Enjoyed the beautiful house and pool. We have younger children and they enjoyed the house very much as well. You can tell they thought about kids as evidenced by outlet covers and alarm chimes on the doors that lead to the pool. Despite going in the middle of a heat wave (112 degrees) the air conditioner kept the house comfortable at 75 degrees.

Also, this is a `Smart` home and has Alexa throughout the house.

The gas grill outside worked well, the over worked, and the fridge worked. All amenities were well taken care of and maintained. This location is close to food, movie theaters, and downtown Palm Springs.

I plan to book this house again in the near future as it was a perfect fit for us.This review was submitted while the home was managed by a different property management company.

This property was amazeballs, the owner has done a fabulous job in the presentation and attention to detail. It`s totally true to the pictures posted. The outdoor area is an absolute oasis which we spent most of our time as the weather was hot, and the pool was the best way to cool down. We did use the hot tub even though it hot outside in the evenings, and it was perfect to wind down the day for sleep time. We didn`t use the firepit much, but we did try it out, and also very cool! The kitchen was so well stocked with everything we could ever need which was really appreciated. We hired Chef Sarena () for a private meal one night and it was delicious and a really fun experience. TurnKey was timely in thier responses when we had to contact them and easy to reach and deal with. We love everything about Palm Springs, we had great experiences with the locals, Uber drivers etc. We would definitely recommend this property if it is maintained to the standard we enjoyed, and also hope to be back to enjoy it again in the future.

I`m in the airport home and couldn`t wait to review this home.

The house is on a very quiet street but only a 5 minute uber from downtown Palm Springs.

Getting into the home was extremely easy and painless with the instructions. As soon as you open the door you`re in awe of a perfectly blue inground pool that peaks in through the floor to ceiling windows in the back.

All of the bedrooms were modern, comfortable and very clean. I love the polished cement floor everywhere!

Felt more like a private hotel than a home.
