This vacation rental is a great example of the wonderful indoor-outdoor living that makes Palm Springs such a popular year-round resort and vacation destination. Step outside to the patio, and bask under the bright warm sun while enjoying a cocktail with friends, or float in the sparkling clear pool (can be heated for a fee) while appreciating the surrounding mountain views. In the evening gather around with your family and friends and enjoy time with unwinding as you stargaze from the in-ground spa. With an open floorplan, it's easy to enjoy dining and entertaining with friends and family. The kitchen is supplied with everything you need to cook a gourmet meal and seating can be found in the elegant dining area or the kitchen island. Head into the colorfully decorated living area and you will be greeted by a comfortable sectional sofa, a marvelous 50” HDTV, and an excellent view of the outside pool mountains beyond.

Located in the highly sought after area of Desert Park Estates, this home way is conveniently close to the action of downtown Palm Springs! Beat the heat and head out each morning to one of the nearby trails that abound in Mount San Jacinto State Park. For a truly unique view of the valley, treat yourself to a ride on the Palm Springs Aerial Tramway located four-and-a-half miles west. Take a trip into downtown and you will be greeted by the desert charm of the restaurants, boutiques, and art galleries that line the downtown core. Not to mention, a day trip to Palm Desert, Indio, and Joshua Tree National Park are all within 35 miles of home base.

THINGS TO KNOW

Outdoor music is prohibited. Music that is played indoors must not be heard outdoors. City ordinance states that any music that is audible from the property line is a violation. People noise during the day is permissible but must be measured and reasonable. Daytime is considered 10:00 am to 10:00 pm.

The utility deposit is $1,500 for 28 nights with $375 added for each additional week the guest stays.

There is a lot to like about this home. Short drive from downtown Palm Springs; good size backyard with pool; open layout; well appointed kitchen; VERY clean (spot less); comfortable couch, clean/fresh design and more. Reasons why I do not give it a 5: forced to drive to the Vacasa office to pick up and turn in a key; no dressers in any of the bedrooms; no cable service so no local TV channels; only 2 lounges by the pool and no lounge pads; the french doors along the back of the house are noisy on a windy night. (Sliding glass doors would let in more light and would be silent in the wind. ) Those are not major complaints -- just reasons why my rating falls short of a five.

We had stayed in this unit when it was managed under the last company. Under Vacasa we were not so happy:
Pool was dirty when we got there, no one came to clean it for 2 days! we could not use it. (They offered us $50 a day for the 2 days which is not even a quarter of the daily rent) Home was not cleaned as well as claimed. Not enough trash bags were left to be able to take out the trash.

We had a great time. The property was clean and well maintained. The modern amenities were to our expectations. The area was quiet only to be interrupted by the cicadas. (It was nice). The location was accessible to restaurants and grocery stores. My family and I would like to stay here again.

The home was very beautiful, open floor plans and beautiful bedrooms (only the master bedroom had a tv and it’s something I didn’t check on the details). I’m giving a 1 star review for my experience due to the jacuzzi being out of order. My family and I specifically booked this house because we wanted to enjoy the jacuzzi. When we arrived we realized it wasn’t so I contacted the 24 hour assistance phone number. After waiting 40mins to speak to someone, they informed me they would put in a work maintenance order and someone from VacationPalmSprings would contact me the NEXT DAY. Next day came and went and AGAIN I called and waited the 40min wait to speak to someone. Pretty much nothing was fixed and no one from VacationPalmSprings contacted me like they said they would. We were hoping to enjoy the jacuzzi bu unfortunately that never happened.

We had a great time at this home. The home was clean and interior was well put together very modern. It is minutes away from Downtown Palm Springs. The mountain view from the backyard was awesome. Enjoyed watching the sunset behind the mountains as we enjoyed the pool. We will be returning.

Spent a weekend away from our LA lifestyle and took the family out to sunny Palm Springs! The kids played in the pool for hours everyday as my husband and I relaxed poolside overlooking the nice mountain view. We also enjoyed going to the zoo over in Palm Desert, and eating out as much as possible. Thank you for providing a house that met our expectations. We`ll be booking again with you guys soon.
