A clean, minimalist design carries throughout the living space, where you'll find original works of art, colorful tile work, and bright, sunny rooms that open to the lovely outdoors. Prepare breakfast each morning in a kitchen with stainless steel appliances and high-gloss cobalt cabinetry, and barbecue your lunches outside on the gas grill. As for your afternoons, you'll spend them swimming in the private pool, relaxing in the attached spa, and unwinding with a good book on the patio or in the bonus room. You'll love swimming in the refurbished pool on those hot summer days. Take advantage of the high-speed WiFi to post your favorite memories to your social media and stream your favorite movies and shows on the 60-inch smart TV in the living room.

This home is located in the El Rancho Vista neighborhood of Palm Springs, which enjoys easy access to downtown (less than three miles west) and Palm Springs International Airport (less than three miles south). Take a quick drive or bike ride over to Palm Canyon Drive, the main strip of downtown that's lined with popular restaurants, boutiques, art galleries, and all sorts of nightlife. Or, spend your days golfing at one of the countless world-class courses in the area or riding the Palm Springs Aerial Tramway (seven miles west) for a majestic view of the desert below.

Outdoor music is prohibited. Music that is played indoors must not be heard outdoors. City ordinance states that any music that is audible from the property line is a violation. People noise during the day is permissible but must be measured and reasonable. Daytime is considered 10:00 am to 10:00 pm.

This home needs TLC and backs up to a VERY busy road. I do not recommend this property if you are looking for a relaxing or well-maintained rental. We entered to a strong odor that never went away (mold? water damage? unclear but not good), and found the condition to be poor overall. The furniture is beat down, the mattresses are bad, the yard needs maintenance, the outdoor furniture is junky and there is a whole side of the outdoor area filled with broken old stuff. The linens are cheap and scratchy. The house was also unclean and underneath every piece of furniture there is a layer of grime, dust and cobwebs.The only reason we were able to get the hot tub heated was that my husband had specific experience with that brand of pool equipment. Otherwise it would be impossible and the support team just said to look around in the backyard.The road noise was an issue 24 hours a day. This was really unpleasant in terms of hanging out outside and also impacted our sleep. Overall this rental was disappointing and the management company needs to update it and clean it overall.

I loved the home, we did not use the pool or "hot tub". I called and left a voice mail to ask how to turn on the jets for the hot tub, which was not hot, and no one called me back. Other than that. The home was nice, it was clean and we had no problems. I understood that there was an extra charge to heat the pool, but I assumed that hot tub would be hot and have clear instructions on how to use it.

The house is nice and clean and plenty of space - just like the pictures. The garden was nice too - we had some issues with the heating of the hot-tub, so I would suggest being aware and on top of the management company if you do too. A manual for the hot-tub would have been helpful.

We have rented many houses from Vacasa and this was not our favorite. The pool was absolutely filthy. The trees at this house have not been trimmed in quite a long time, and everything just falls into the pool. It is windy and dusty, and the dirt falls into the pool. There is no pool sweep so there is no way for the pool to clean itself. we called the Casa and luckily they sent someone to clean the pool but a day later it was dirty again. The windows in the bedroom have sheer curtains. We had to cover the windows with foil during our stay so we can sleep. Do not plan on going to bed early or taking a nap during the day, it is not possible. There is a problem with the water pressure. Every time we turned on the faucet the water would cough and spit at us. The owner of this house needs to do a little updating.

My spouse and I wanted a getaway trip to Palm Springs to have a change of scenery for the week. The pictures online looked amazing and the home was presented visually to be modern, clean, and well maintained. Unfortunately, we did not experience this.

From the outside, the house appeared nice - great curb appeal compared to some of the other homes on the street. The wind was blowing so there was debris from the neighboring palm trees and some of the small landscaping rocks were blowing around. But after 8 hours in the car, we were just happy to stop driving.

We entered the house and the first thought was “the pictures do not reflect reality.” Unfortunately, it was very clear that the home lacked TLC. The cracks, scuffs, and chips in the floor were eye-catching. The kitchen was less “modern functional” and more “IKEA out of the box.” The ice machine did not work. And it wasn’t known if the water filter was actually filtering the water from the fridge. And every single rug in the home was filthy. I’m not sure if they had been washed before, but we washed the rug in the middle bathroom because we would be stepping on it from the shower. The difference (between clean and dirty rugs) was astonishing.

The mattresses were like hostile mattresses - not comfortable but better than the floor. Palm Springs ordinance requires the lowest thermostat setting to be 76 degrees. The warm room and mattress made sleeping uncomfortable. My spouse slept one night on the sofa which was more comfortable.

The en suite bathroom toilet was not secured to the floor. While no water was leaking, it was awkward the first time sitting on the toilet. And the corners of the bathroom and shower were dirty with dust and hairs (not ours). The middle bathroom was cleaner and the toilet was secured so we ended up using that one.

The outdoor space was more similar to the pictures….except for the pool and hot tub. When you step into the hot tub and the dirt clouds around your foot, you don’t really care to go any further. We did not use the hot tub as a result. The pool wasn’t any better. The tile around the pool was chipped and missing tiles, and the deep end of the pool is separating from the concrete walk way. We took pictures because there were roots from the surrounding palm trees coming thru the lifted concrete.

The house is also not very conducive for working. There’s no desk space, the outlets are not handy for plugging in a laptop, and we ended up working from the kitchen table. That was the only place to actually work. The house is not designed for remote workers.

We ended up leaving a day early because it was just too much. It’s close to the airport but we didn’t hear the planes taking off/landing from inside the house. But the wind is pretty intense on some nights. The beds need replacement. The bathroom en suite needs repair for the toilet. The pool and hot tub need a complete remodel. Future visitors be advised.

We stayed at the Poolside Wexler for a week. I can tell you the pictures of the pool spa and lawn furniture had to be taken 10+ years ago. From the day we arrived to the day we left the pool and spa were covered in algae, dirt on the bottom of the pool and spa, lawn chairs were filthy. We contacted customer service 3x's and two supposedly pool people came out but nothing changed. We were unable to use the spa due to all the algae. We did swim a bit since we paid for a Poolside home!!
The book they leave to tell you all the do's and don'ts said the pool is cleaned twice a week, this pool had not been cleaned in 2 months!
The house was very nice and clean. Kitchen had everything we needed (except a cutting board). Plenty of towels. We were very happy with the house and surrounding area, hated the pool/spa!

Here’s a timeline of our stay here.
In the weeks leading up: WAY too many emails, had to install a special app (why?)
Arrive Thursday evening. The lockbox code we were given in one of the dozen emails is incorrect. We call the number and are told the person on the line “cannot give that information.” What? We are told to drive several miles to the office to speak to someone in person who does give us the right code. If we had arrived 20 minutes later, that person would have left for the evening and I guess we would have been out of luck? Drive back to the house, thankfully the code works.
Friday morning. Wake up at 6:30 because the intense Palm Springs sun is BLAZING through our windows because the curtains are sheer. (Don’t stay here if you plan to sleep late!). Made breakfast in the kitchen. The toaster SETS OUR TOAST ON LITERAL FIRE. It appears someone had messed with the internal wires and they will directly touch whatever you put in there. Shake that off and attempt to get on the WiFi for work and our child’s zoom schooling. Nope! WiFi was essentially inoperable and the homes binder of info suggests it “might not work with Mac laptops.” Huh? It also advised to call Spectrum, as if I’m the owner of the account? After lunch, we attempted to load the dishwasher which we quickly realized was non functioning and full of standing water that smelled like a sewer. (That water would later start leaking out of the dishwasher onto the floor when the garbage disposal was activated). Later that evening, while attempting to bathe our children, we noticed what appeared to be dozens of pubic hairs scattered all around the bathroom and towels. An attempt to unwind that night in the hot tub was thwarted by the realization that the pool heater emits a deafening whine that renders conversation in the hot tub annoying if not impossible.

Also there were no cutting boards and the kitchen trash can was the size of a waste paper basket. Those weren’t trip ruiners but it was weird!

It’s a shame because the house itself if quite architecturally beautiful. It’s a Wexler in Rancho Vista Estates. It would be so much cooler if it was actually cared for!

The neighborhood is nice and quiet, and the house has all the necessities. The kitchen is well-appointed, and like a typical Wexler, there are many lounging/dining areas throughout the home and yard. We really enjoyed that there was some grass in the backyard, and the pool was a bit small but perfectly fine for 2 or 3 adults.
