Welcome to On The Rocks, where you'll be treated to ample indoor-outdoor comfort in the midst of Palm Springs' incredible desert beauty. This four-bedroom home enjoys a commanding view of the nearby mountains, allowing you to take daily dips in the private pool, relax in the cascading spa, and grill and dine al fresco in a truly memorable setting. You'll find comfortable outdoor seating, including a fleet of seven poolside lounge chairs, a gas grill for your afternoon barbecues, and a patio canopy to provide a shady respite from the desert sun. At night, you can watch the sun sink below the San Jacinto Mountains, turn on a movie on the 48-inch HDTV, and have a restful night's sleep in one of the four bedrooms - one with a king-size bed and three with a queen-size bed apiece.

WHAT’S NEARBY

This home is located just over a mile northeast of the heart of Palm Springs, where you can spend your days dining at acclaimed restaurants, popping in and out of art galleries, and enjoying all sorts of nightlife along Palm Canyon Drive. Hikers will find scenic trails to explore in Tahquitz Canyon (three miles south) and Indian Canyons (six miles south), while golfers will be a short drive from more than 100 world-class golf courses in the immediate area. In search of an unforgettable desert view? Be sure to take a ride on the Palm Springs Aerial Tramway only six miles west.

THINGS TO KNOW

Outdoor music is prohibited. Music that is played indoors must not be heard outdoors. City ordinance states that any music that is audible from the property line is a violation. People noise during the day is permissible but must be measured and reasonable. Daytime is considered 10:00 am to 10:00 pm.

The utility deposit is $1,500 for 28 nights with $375 added for each additional week the guest stays.

The pool was a highlight for everyone in our family group of 8. The house was spacious, as were the outdoor spaces, giving our grandkids lots of play areas. Nice neighborhood - close to attractions, shopping and restaurants. Would definitely stay here again.

I loved the layout and decor of this house and how clean it was. It was very private with a locked gate and high retaining wall around the property. The only thing that we weren’t thrilled about was the cleanliness of the pool. The information binder said it gets cleaned on Tuesday’s and Friday’s and when we arrived on Monday, it was pretty dirty. The water was clean, but there was tons of leaves and twigs throughout the pool, especially settled on the bottom, and the net had a hole in it making it impossible to clean ourselves. When I called I was told the pool cleaning service comes on Monday’s and Thursday’s, but we arrived on a Monday and it was definitely not cleaned that day. The maintenance guy replaced the pool net for us on Wednesday so I spent about two hours cleaning it so we got to enjoy it a couple days of our trip. Other than that, the house and the property was extremely clean and beautiful and the property management was friendly and responsive.

One Star, only because I have to in order to leave my review. What I loved, the beautiful mountains in the surrounding area. The home upon initial entry was pretty clean. Lifted the mats on the floor (mats creep me out) they were filthy, dirt, sand, crumbs, who knows what, just gross. The floors were also filthy. Went to use the jacuzzi and was cold as ice. Paid to have pool heated, cold as ice. Got the house because it had a nice gate that was supposed to close but didn’t unless you close it yourself and “lock” it with the rock that was nearby. I’ve been gone for two days and have tried to call to get some kind of refund for everything that was wrong and suddenly no one answers their phone. Able to talk to one person who couldn’t help us with a reimbursement but said she would have the Vacasa house manager call back to discuss the reimbursement, guess what, no call!!! Vacasa is horrible to work with. I won’t ever rent a house through Vacasa or Vrbo or AirBNB if they use Vacasa.

This 4 bedroom, 2 bath home was perfect for our long-awaited family gathering. Living/dining/kitchen area was spacious, hot tub and pool wonderful, bedrooms cozy. Good location, walk to Albertsons grocery store, great walks in mid-century modern neighborhoods surrounding the home.
We did have a few issues initially: hot tub not working, garbage disposal not working..... but the local property management company sent repair people out right away. They were all very friendly and helpful. Thanks for making our stay memorable.

We love this house and went back to it but this time around was not what we expected. The pool never got cleaned so it was dirty from the trees and the whole house was dusty dirty and a bed was not made we had to clean up and that's not what a vacation should consist of I was charge for cleaning but it was the dirtiest house ever very upset.

We loved this house and felt comfortable from the very minute we walked through the door. The common area is amazing as well as the backyard pool and jacuzzi. Plenty of seating and lounging available in or out of the sun around the pool area. 2 seniors, 3 millennials and a 5 year old enjoyed the heck out of this house!

We loved the heated pool and spa. The rooms were very comfortable with 8 people. The washer and dryer were really nice for having fresh towels all the time.

There were a few minor things (rocks loose, lights not working in spa) but nothing that was a huge deal to us.

Overall the house was solid for a fun weekend. Only downside was we had to go to the store and get toilet paper since the house had only two rolls for 8 guests.

I thought the weather was perfect. The rooms were perfect. The great room was perfect. Having a gate and garage was great. The lawn out front made it even better. There were enough lounge chairs for everyone. The kitchen was well stocked with tons of appliances and everything you would need to cook. There were enough towels for the pool and showering. The location was close to ideal. The information folder was very informative and complete.
