Sitting just two miles from the heart of Palm Springs, you will be within minutes of the famed Palm Canyon Drive where you will find the many shops, restaurants, and attractions in town. After popping into the local museums or hiking along a nearby trail, everyone will have built up an appetite. Workshop Kitchen, Cheeky’s, Farm, and Rooster and the Pig (takeout only) are all great options for a bite! Plus, day trips to the beauty of Mount San Jacinto State Park or Joshua Tree National Park are within 35 miles of town!

THINGS TO KNOW

Outdoor music is prohibited. Music that is played indoors must not be heard outdoors. City ordinance states that any music that is audible from the property line is a violation. People noise during the day is permissible but must be measured and reasonable. Daytime is considered 10:00 am to 10:00 pm.

The utility deposit is $1,500 for 28 nights with $375 added for each additional week the guest stays.

Loved everything about this house.Emmaculate and beautifully decorated with mid century designed furniture. Bright open space. Love all the natural lighting. This house was perfect for the 4 of us for a 5 day vacation. It is tastefully decorated and very comfortable. The kitchen is well stocked with everything you need. We cooked in 3 of the nights. The beds are super comfortable. The backyard and pool is a very special place. We were floating in the pool by 9:00 a.m. everyday. It is so relaxing and enjoyable we really didn’t want to leave to go do anything. I will go back here again in a heartbeat. We had no issues and check in was a breeze.

We love Palm Springs and Six Palms makes us feel like we’ve been transported back in time when life was more simple. From waking up to the beautiful backyard view of sunshine dancing off the glistening pool against a lush green background of manicured hedges to sipping a cocktail as the sun goes down and the warm Fall nights relax you for an amazing dinner on the town. This mid century home is quaint with too much personality to boot, the decor is fresh & modern yet nostalgic. Comfy beds, with plenty of room for kids to have their own space and a well stocked kitchen and kick ass BBQ make for the perfect getaway. Did I mention Palm Springs is our happy place? Six Palms is the icing on the cake and you won’t be disappointed if you’re looking for an authentic PS experience.

We love staying here at Six Palms! The house is comfortable and cute with the sparkling pool to cool off in. We love the backyard setting, perfect for morning coffee and afternoon bbq’s. The green grass and lemon tree just adds to this whole mid-century Palm Springs vibe. The downtown is minutes away with plenty of wonderful dining options. We always look forward to our vacations spent at Six Palms.

Pros: The private pool, covered patio and outdoor space was very nice. This home has a very private backyard for relaxing. The indoor space was clean and there were ample towels for the pool and extended stay. There is a playground across the street if you're traveling with kids.

The cons: the home really needs a new coffee maker. The one available takes nearly 60 minutes to brew a pot. It works, just very slowly. The kitchen is fully stocked with dishes and plates, but had next to nothing when it came to condiments and spices for cooking in the kitchen. No ketchup, mustard, pepper, etc. The pool heat was not worth the extra cost in our opinion. We heated it for a week and it was still COLD. The office said it would be heated to 86, but the temperature read between 80-82 while we were staying and we rarely saw the heat come on. Also, the communication between the agency that manages the rental and the renter was difficult at best. We were sent confirmations and key box codes that did not work for our property, leaving us hanging at the rental and on the phone with the company for some time, before getting the correct code and access to our rental. No pool toys or floats aside from a few pool noodles. Not exactly the best set-up for families, unless you bring or buy your own. The ice maker doesn't work, nor does the outside patio fan.

A pool tech let us know the pool was in service mode which caused the issue you encountered; we apologize for this. My husband and I came to Palm Springs for a quick weekend getaway/birthday trip for him and this house was perfect. We opted to heat the pool since it was March and still a little chilly at night. The house was clean, had a fully stocked kitchen and the bed in the master bedroom was super comfy! Would stay here again!

Great house - perfect for a small group. We stayed for over 2 weeks and had a great time. Pool was very nice, backyard private with a nice view of the mountains. Enjoyed the gas fire pit as well. Quiet neighborhood.

House was well designed and had nice appliances, A/C worked well on hot days. Did not have major issues with WiFi as others had mentioned - just needed to plug/unplug router. Got a little tricky with 5 people or more connected, but that is expected.

Property manager was very attentive. Would definitely rent again

House was clean, modern, well stocked and all that was expected from the listing- a perfect space for our family of four. This is the third time we have stayed in the neighborhood in similar properties for Thanksgiving. We did pay extra for pool heat, and despite a lot of rain, managed to use the pool a good amount. Wifi was a bit flaky with iphones, and we had to reset the router a few times. Also, needed to look up oven instructions on web to figure how to set oven temperature. Booking and transactions with property company was unnecessarily complicated and at first confusing- essentially you move totally from the VRBO system and deal direct, even with email. They use their own app hospitality system. I had a late check in and didn`t receive my check in code until 4pm on day of arrival , but on the whole they were responsive.

We stayed at 6 palms for 4 weeks in March, and enjoyed every minute . The house was immaculate; the beds comfortable and the towels, both bathroom and pool, plentiful. A fully equipped kitchen with a gas range, large fridge, wine fridge, dishwasher and more than enough plates, glasses and cutlery and a large gas BBQ allowed efficient preparation and serving of meals. The large, totally private back yard was suitable for no-tan-line sunbathing, and the crystal clear, 86 degree, salt-water pool provided allowed on to swim without annoying fabric encumbrances. The pool was cleaned by a pool cleaning service twice weekly and the grass and hedges attended to once weekly. Were there any issues while we were there? Of course, same minor problems that occur at home, but they were all dealt with quickly and professionally. Would we return to this home? Definitely. Would we recommend Vacation Palm Springs and this home to our friends? Certainly, as long as they didn`t attempt to rent the house when we want it.

I loved that the kitchen was fully equipped and the appliances were top knotch...what I`m used to. I loved that the home was well manicured/immaculate. The pool temp was perfect, not too hot or too cold. I loved playing boche ball on the back lawn woth my family. The view of the mountains/tram, is insane from the pool/backyard. The shadows on the mountains in the early morning and from 3:00 on are beautiful. So peaceful. We walked the neighborhood in the middle of the night taking in the fantastic architecture, the stars, the silence...We walked to town for shopping, great food, culture. This feels like the home that time forgot. The 6 Palms Time Machine. The reservation process was seemless...so simple. Thank you.
