My husband and I visited La Quinta for our son’s college golf tournament. We’ve done this for the past few years and always try to stay in this condo community. The comfort and cleanliness of this particular unit did not disappoint! It felt like home away from home. I’d highly recommend. The only thing I would change would be the powdered shampoo, conditioner, and body wash. I forgot my shampoo and conditioner and used the samples that were left. They did not work at all. The idea was fun, but it fell short. But that was so minor, it definitely would not deter me from renting this unit again!

location was great. old la quinta with restaurants and farmers market were a short walk away. For cycling, it was easy to connect to good road routes. The kitchen had the basics but was really lacking if you wanted to actually cook. Pots, pans and cutlery are as cheap as they come. Bonus - I think I found the world's dullest kitchen knife! Pool and hot tub were nice, with a good aspect for sunning. Warning to not wear a good bathing suit in the hot tub because my GF's expensice suit was RUINED by chemicals. Also, there is a small book of rules to follow which was annoying. Parking was adequate for a large truck but I think it was a slow time of year. Seems to be plenty of surplus parking nearby. Part of the negative review is for Vacasa who completely dropped the ball when I tried to extend my stay. I reached a voicemail and no one called me back. While waiting for call back, the late checkout option vanished, which would have been a second-best option. Also, be prepared for an avalanche of vacasa emails and other communication even after unsubscribing. Hoping they go away after filling out survey

The property was a lovely place, clean and tidy. Had all the necessary amenities for a lovely weekend. The only cons was that I was given the wrong e-code for the door and took me about 45 minutes in 115 degree weather to get somebody to let me in. Also the jacuzzi didn't work, although we had the pool all to ourselves for the entirety of the stay. Overall good place to stay off you want some peace and quiet.

The home was well equipped and Wi-Fi covered the pool area. Whimstay was a great channel partner too and made it seamless to book and save money. Homer explicit instructions are needed for electronic lock when leaving but otherwise great spot!

The location was great Super close, walking distance to Old Town La Quinta . Condo was very clean, lots of towels, personal grooming supplies were provided. Couch was comfortable, an occasional chair would have been nice for conversation.. barstools were cold and uncomfortable . The bedroom lighting was poor.. small bedside lamps were the only source of light… an overhead light is really necessary. Television system is hard to navigate.. couldn’t get the tv in master to work. Bed linens are old and worn.. they are so polled that they felt like sand paper. More counter space is needed in the master bedroom only small nightstands.. no dresser.. old fashion tv cabinet.

Location was good. Furniture was cheap and uncomfortable. Basic repairs are needed - front door seal - bathroom door latch - oven - tiles in kitchen - cracks in bathroom wall. Check in was a nightmare - 10 digit code to open the door is going overboard. No decent chairs to sit on.

Just steps from lovely Old Town La Quinta with interesting restaurants and shops. A wonderful pool and spa. The unit is very comfortable but rather dark. Hard to shave or apply makeup in the bathroom due to the limited lighting. We knew this unit was on the second floor, but the 20 steps is a little excessive. Overall a great experience.

I did not like all the misinformation about your virtual check in. You wasted a lot of my time. Then you failed to include the actual code to get in. When I got the code, you described a difficult entry using the handle. Then I called when the code would not work. You gave me lock box code for actual dead bolt key. This deadbolt worked only with much struggle. Your entire lock should be replaced to make it more user friendly. The bar stools were not comfortable and even not safe.

We spent 3 hours driving through traffic from LA area to arrive at the rental. The lock did not work. We could not open the door. We texted, called and waited for assistance for an hour outdoors in 100+ heat at 9 pm at night. There was no help to be had. We turned around and drove home. This was supposed to be our anniversary celebration. We were very disappointed in the awful customer service.
