Afterward, treat everyone to a dinner at Hamachi Sushi, El Portal Mexican, or Bubba's Bones & Brews, all within a couple miles of this home.

THINGS TO KNOW

Per CCMC 5.96, No outdoor music is allowed at any time, including any amplified music. The quiet hours are from 10 pm to 8 am, and during those hours the use of outdoor amenities are prohibited from 10 pm to 8 am. Any and all music played inside cannot be heard from outside of the property as well.

Nice neighborhood. Great location. Loved the pool and yard. Very clean. Nice TVs. Would stay again. Though we tried to check in a little early and wasn't allowed. Which is fine cause check in is 4:00.

It was in a nice quite neighborhood in Cathedral City. The house was very well maintained and manicured. Loved laying in the warm pool looking at the Palms and Mountains Day and Night. 10 min plus drive to downtown Palm Springs.

This house was plenty big enough a welcoming to stay in. Although not all of our concerns could be dealt with during our stay, the staff definitely showed a great effort in trying to make things right. Would recommend!

We loved our stay at Sunny Destination, great location, the house has all of the amenities to make your stay delightful. The only downside is that the air conditioner will not allow you to set it below 76 degrees, and in the desert, that is a bit warm. We spent most of our days out exploring, but nights were tough. Our crew is from the South, so we understand heat, but also enjoy our air conditioners, and with our extreme heat plus humidity, we always set our A/Cs below 76 degrees and it has never caused the unit to freeze or malfunction as it notes in the house book. Also, it says you can watch live TV with the Spectrum app, but the Spectrum app is not downloaded on either television, so you are unable to watch TV, and for these sports fans, that was pretty terrible. Ended up having to go to a local bar just to catch the games. And there is a lock on the TV that won't allow you to download any new apps, so you couldn't even put your personal credentials in to get service.

Other than these 2 LARGE negatives, the house was spacious, well appointed, and a good time.

The location of the house is great, very convenient to the freeway and stores and there are nice views of the mountains in the distance. The internet worked very well and TV had Roku. The house was clean and there were basic supplies like TP, paper towels, soap, bath towels, extra blankets etc.. The beds are comfortable and the bedrooms & bathrooms are large. The kitchen appliances are also good and work well; fridge, microwave, dishwasher, stove, coffee maker. Where it falls short is overall quality and maintenance. The kitchen utensils and pans are all really beat up, can opener was broken, the furniture was uncomfortable with rickety chairs, the towel bar in the bathroom had fallen off the wall, loose cabinet handles etc. The washing machine was broken/unusable.. on the first use, it sounded like a bomb was going off on the spin cycle and it traveled half way across the garage, so we had to quickly unplug it and remove the half-cleaned clothes… quite a disappointment. The outdoor patio cover provides limited shade since its just slats and not fully covered. The pool is also kind of beat up with stains, missing trim and cracks. There was no handrail for getting in and out which was dangerous. There were pool floaties and large towels, which was nice and the water was a good temperature. Again where it falls short is on overall maintenance. The pool got very dirty with palm tree debris, but it was only cleaned once during our stay, so it got really gunky and smelly. We missed a few days of use, which was very disappointing. Overall I would say the place is just OK. It worked out, but I wouldn’t choose this house again.

My wife and I have rented vacation homes for the past 7 years and have never been disappointed. Unfortunately, we cannot say that about our stay here in May 2021. The place was not as clean as it should have been, especially with COVID. The owner of this home should treasure the investment they have and take more pride in it. The master bedroom: the bed is uncomfortable, the bathroom faucet is backwards with the cold water being the hot water, the bathroom outlet did not work. Front room: there are holes in the walls, the front window blinds were broken, the windows are filthy dirty and there are no screens on the windows, so we could not open the house up on the cooler nights without inviting in bugs, the flooring around the fireplace is broken. In addition, the ceiling fans and the ceiling vents need to be cleaned. Kitchen: the glasses are small glasses, the silverware is like camping utensils, the pots and pans are old and burned, the knifes are old and dull. Backyard/pool area: the patio needs to be cleaned and scrub, there is absolutely no ambiance, the yard landscaping is dull and/or dying, the landscape lighting does not work, the loungers have no padding and there were only 2 loungers.

This home has great potential, all it needs is a little TLC and some upgrades on amenities. Hopefully, the owner will consider this complaint as a gift and do something to value their investment.

The home was clean and had most everything we needed. Plenty of space for our small family and all kitchen necessities. One thing to point out for potential renters - the home's AC doesn't really work (and they tell you not to put it below 76 degrees, which still felt quite warm to us) and there is NO CABLE, despite the advertisement saying there is. They have a Roku on two televisions, one of which isn't set up, and the other doesn't have several of the basic apps I'd expect to see. We called to try to get it set up with the necessary access code, but no one at Vacasa knew what we were talking about or what to do. Just a heads up if you're hoping to watch the television. Otherwise, good little house.

The house was in a great location. Easy access to shops and freeway. Clean and fully equipped in the kitchen, bathroom, and rooms. Swimming pool was great for cooling off during the hot weather. The BBQ grill was a plus for grilling. The office was very friendly and responsive when we needed something.
