The den space, convenient to the kitchen, features an HDTV viewing area with comfortable seating for your enjoyment. The bright and airy kitchen boasts excellent preparation space and a large sink, dishwasher, period cabinets, and plenty of counter space. It is fully equipped with a gas range and all the appliances and amenities needed to prepare your favorite meals or baked treats. The separated kitchen features a pass-through window to the dining room which contains an expandable, Haywood Wakefield table that can seat 10. Head outside, and you will find lush green grass, beautiful landscaping, a covered patio, and a beautiful private pool and spa (both can be heated for a fee). Plus, spectacular views of palm trees and mountains create that restful and relaxing vibe of the ultimate Palm Springs Vacation experience.

This Palm Springs property is located in the Tahquitz River Estates neighborhood in south Palm Springs and conveniently sits in a picturesque and peaceful area close to downtown shops and restaurants, hiking, biking, and quiet streets for leisurely walks. When you want to venture out a bit, simply drive one mile to Tahquitz Canyon and hike along the wonderful trails that overlook the city. Don't miss out on the many eclectic restaurants and shops, as Palm Canyon Drive is home to the absolute best local stops.

THINGS TO KNOW

Outdoor music is prohibited. Music that is played indoors must not be heard outdoors. City ordinance states that any music that is audible from the property line is a violation. People noise during the day is permissible but must be measured and reasonable. Daytime is considered 10:00 am to 10:00 pm.

The utility deposit is $1,500 for 28 nights with $375 added for each additional week the guest stays.

We stayed here before and came back! The location is perfect and the house is great. It would have been another five star review, but we found out that in order to heat the small hot tub you are required to heat the entire pool. This takes 2-3 days and costs a supplemental $50/day to make happen. I was aware of the charge for the pool, but what use is a hot tub without the heat? I hope they can make that clearer on the site listing. Otherwise, it was a great stay.

The house really is lovely, it looks just like the photos. It’s nice and clean, spacious and in a wonderful location. Absolutely no complaints there, highly recommend ❤️.

Sadly, while we were there the heat in the swimming pool was not working. Hey, I’ve been a property manager for over 30 years, I understand that things break. Vacasa sent maintenance people twice, trying to get it working. They also allowed us a late check out as they didn’t have anyone staying the next night, which was great. My only issue has been getting them to refund the $50 a day pool heating charge. I’ve sent a text, called the 800 number, and sent an email. So far crickets. But for $225 I’m not giving up, it’s the principle of the thing.

We escaped the cooler Bay Area temperature to come to Palm Springs, only to get some cold weather here too. Saving Grace was the heated pool. We spent the days and evenings in it. The kitchen comes fully equipped with everything you need to cook. It’s a pet friendly home, though we had to travel sans our dog at the last minute. The beds are incredibly comfortable and sleep was a dream. Only negative was no laundry access, despite the manual saying it was available. Would definitely come back!

We loved everything about this house! It is spacious, extremely comfortable, well-stocked, and elegant. I loved the eclectic, slightly funky decor -- it suits the house perfectly without being cookie-cutter mid-century overkill. Every single room (with the exception of the kitchen and baths) opens directly to the large pool and beautifully landscaped backyard. Plenty of shade, seating and pool toys outside. We weren't familiar with Tahquitz River Estates area, and loved it -- it is pretty and quiet, yet just blocks from the main drag. We would not hesitate to stay here again -- it was by far the nicest place we have rented in Palm Springs over many years of visiting.

The only hiccup in our stay came at the very beginning, when we arrived to find the house still being cleaned. Not a major problem -- and the house was indeed very clean -- but the way the property manager, Roxy, handled the situation left much to be desired. After a couple calls with Roxy, we spoke directly to the housekeeper and waited in the backyard til after 6 to enter the house, Roxy did not call to check on us to see that everything had been sorted out, or to apologize. When I called later to ask that we be granted a late check-out to compensate for the late check-in, she categorically refused. She insisted she was the supervisor and her word was final.
When I asked if she could at least check with the cleaning company to see if it was possible, she agreed, but then never called back. I left two messages for her the day before we were scheduled to leave to follow up -- nothing. Finally, I called the general Vacasa number and, after checking with a supervisor, they quickly and pleasantly agreed to a late checkout, under the circumstances.

I wish we could just dock half a star, as all ended well, Vacasa management came through, and it was overall a wonderful experience and house -- but for Roxy's lack of professionalism.

I've been coming to Palm Springs and the desert since I was a child and my grandmother brought me and my three brothers here. I've stayed in dozens of homes and hotels and this place on S. Camino Real is the best. Its a beautiful, stylist, clean and multifaceted home with views out almost every window and the pool/spa. Its walking and easy biking distance to downtown Palm Springs. I'd stay there again in a heartbeat.
