Welcome to your own private Zen Mountain Bungalow and Casita tucked away within the hillside artist colony of the Cove in Cathedral City. This completely remodeled home offers everything you need for your next getaway to the Palm Springs area. Ideally located between Palm Springs and Rancho Mirage, the home enjoys access to a diversity of restaurants, shops, golf courses, and other attractions. Take a ride on the Palm Springs Aerial Tramway, only 14 miles away, where you'll ascend to over 8,000 feet for a view of the entire Coachella Valley. For some nighttime excitement, check out the Agua Caliente Resort Casino & Spa for adult games, live entertainment, and excellent dining, only seven miles from your door. Outdoor adventure-seekers will find numerous hiking trails just a five-minute walk from the home, and the Cathedral Canyon Trailhead is located just a little over a mile away.

At home, spend the morning sunning by your private saltwater pool, the afternoon grilling out on the shady patio, and the evening soaking in your hot tub under the desert stars. An adorable casita offers a kitchenette, bedroom, and living space of its own. Inside, you’ll find an open, light-filled layout boasting modern, colorful furnishings and lots of space to spend time together. Visiting chefs will love the full kitchen’s high-end appliances and plentiful counter space, including a huge kitchen island, and the whole gang can grab a bite together at the adjacent dining table.

In the evening, relax in the central AC while the washer/dryer takes care of the day’s clothes. Several comfortable spots to relax and streaming-capable TVs provide entertainment options, or you can use the free WiFi to upload some pics to social media. Call it a night in either the main bedroom or retire to the casita if you’re looking for more privacy. It’s time to make some dreamy desert memories - all that’s left to do is book.

We hunkered down at the Zen Mountain Bungalow for an extended stay while the pandemic ravaged our home city. It was the perfect place to be. The location on the far edge of beautiful Cathedral Cove was just perfect. We felt like our only neighbors were the hummingbirds and bunnies who visited regularly.

The house is exactly as it is depicted in these photos. If anything, it's even nicer in person. We enjoyed the pool and jacuzzi multiple times a day. The gated front porch is the perfect setup for contactless deliveries, and we ate very well with meals from the many nearby restaurants that all deliver. When we felt like cooking, the kitchen was well-equipped to meet our needs.

Finally, just a quick shoutout to the staff at Vacasa. Everyone we spoke with was very helpful and professional. We had no significant problems with the house, but Vacasa responded immediately to any questions we had.

We are so grateful for our time at the Zen Mountain Bungalow.

This property exceeded our expectations. First of all, the aesthetic and decor was top notch. The beds were comfortable, the casita was amazing, the pool/spa was great, the outdoor space was big and comfortable, seriously - everything was pretty much perfect. We`ve stayed in several different homes as we visit the desert regularly and this was probably at the top of the list. We typically like to stay right in Palm Springs but where this is in Cathedral City it so central to all the desert towns and the `The Cove` isn`t your typical CC property. Its a great neighbourhood. Speaking of which - the neighbours are SUPER friendly. Can`t say enough - HIGHLY recommend.

We had such a fantastic time at the Zen Mountain Bungalow! Even though there`s so much to do in the area, we ended up spending almost the entire week right here at the house - swimming, relaxing, and enjoying being together as a family. We even did an early Thanksgiving dinner! Thanks to the incredibly well-stocked kitchen. Every element of the house was perfect, right down to the pillows! We look forward to coming back!

Overall, This place is a awesome place to get away from everything, thats how we felt. Lots of room for whoever is coming with you to this house. BBQ is a cool set up right next to the pool then the studio place in the backyard, thumbs up. But a suggestion to the owner is to install ceiling fans in the living room ac works great but in that area you can`t really feel it. Also under the patio deck would be a good idea too. But this place for sure made some memories for my family and I. Book it when you see this. ;)

We enjoyed every moment. Great neighbors. This home gave me the opportunity to have my children and grandchildren come one family at a time for a week each. Was here for a relaxing week all the way from LA! =) Great accommodations, fun pool & easy access to all things Palm Springs. Watch out for slippery patio after being in pool though. The wild bunnies, lizards and lone hummingbird were all neat to see in the morning hours. Great appointed kitchen with all you need for fixing meals for a family. Overall great stay! We loved the open, clean feel of the house. We loved spending our day lounging in the gorgeous backyard! Our pool was dirty the day we arrived but when I contacted vacation palm springs they sent a cleaner asap. I can`t remember who I spoke with but he was a gem. Quiet neighborhood - nice for walking/jogging. The home is very clean and exactly as it was represented online. You can tell the owners enjoy spending time in their home, too. More importantly, we enjoyed the community, sightseeing, trail hikes and the people we met. The perfect place to make base camp for daily excursions and the perfect place to simply relax and unwind. The resident owl was quiet special, too.

We were happily surprised when we came into Zen Mountain Bungalow. This house is in reality more beautiful than we expected based on the pictures on the website. Also we were greeted with a welcome package with a bottle of cider, pellegrino, peppermints and delicious cookies. We never before rented such a great vacation home, with a modern design which was so well and comfortably decorated. This was really a relaxing week in the villa, enjoying the fabulous pool and the tranquility of the environment. This was what we really needed after round trip from Dallas through Texas, New Mexico, Arizona and Nevada. Weather was great, high temperatures of course, but that is what one can expect in Cathedral City in August. Thanks again for the opportunity to rent this great house. We will recommend this great villa to everyone, who appreciates a modern house with all comforts in a very quiet surrounding.

We loved this beautiful home!! It was absolutely perfect for our family vacation. The house was very well stocked and we were thrilled to find the sweet little welcome package when we arrived! The beds were extremely comfortable and it was so handy to have hairdryers provided in each bathroom. The backyard, pool area and BBQ were first class!! We spent every single day of our visit enjoying time in and around the pool. The BBQ was fantastic and we cooked on it almost every night. The towels were plush, soft and plentiful.
